I disagree with the above. Lackey was great before and we signed him not
knowing he was damaged... I am hoping he'll be comeback player of the year
and Aceves is pretty good IMHO. He gets pumped up ... gotta love that even
when he is playing for a cellar dweller type team.

Player of Year"?

The Red Sox must have big comebacks from Lackey, Lester, Ellsbury,
Bard and Bailey....and medium size ones from Buchholz and Pedroia.

Considering that they have already cleaned house a bit, that's a lot
of under-achievement

interesting, 'fruit loops' is also the nickname given to howard on big
bang theory when he was an astronaut.

he was great when, in 2005? very good in 2006 and 2007, and lucky in 2007 as well. not very good the last two seasons before the sox got him. i'm hoping that he'll come back to the extent that he's a decent #3 starter, but i don't think he's capable of any better than that and even that is optimistic.
