Curly C
revenge on the 1967 cards team who had Tim McCarver as a catcher.
The bad part is he will be so biased for the cards that it will seem
like he hated the yanks in comparison.
With both teams top starters not being ready to go for game 1, why not
let Lonborg and Gibson pitch that game.
The scary thing is, I bet Gibson could still strikeout 10 batters and
hit 3 or 4 if he did start tomorrow night.

I don't know if Dr. Lonborg could put in much pitching, but the team
could certainly retain him for any emergency dental work that comes up
during the series.

Talk about bad timing. The only time I ever switched team allegiances
is when teams moved away. Curly C may be a fan of the sport, but
cannot at this time be considered the loyal fan of any team. Perhaps
he should find some generic news group about Major League Baseball to

Lonborg would actually be a great choice for throwing out the first
pitch at Fenway. Maybe Pesky for the second game. Let them participate
in a World Series victory.

Given the fact that it's the Cards and Sox, I think we will see a whole
littany of players from 1967... Although I was hoping we'd see Pudge Fisk
