Tell that theory to Bob Stanley.
Bill James says very low K pitchers have a short shelve life. Who
would you get rid of to make roon for Wang?
Stanley was pretty good for several years.

I thought about that a month or so ago myself but I think he's done.
He is still 6-8 weeks away from throwing off the mound and his people
are saying he would be ready about May 1
According to Ken Rosethal a half a dozen teams are interested in him
and the number is expected to grow.
If there is that kind of competition I doubt he would accept any kind
of minor league contract from the Red Sox.
Yep...a ton of teams are interested in his services, along with TEE
who would like to bring him back too. I fully expect that he wants a
deal starting at $4-5 million, which is incentive-laden, so he can
earn an extra $1-2 million. Whoever ponies up the $5 million, or
offers him a 2 or 3 year deal(a foolish team like the Astros or
somebody might be dumb enough to risk something like that, I wouldn't
put it past them) will probably win the Wang sweepstakes.
No Wango Tango for me.
THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!!!
:D
He would fit nicely on the Mariners with their defense.
Aren't you asking the wrong person that question?
