the numbers at last thursday's Michelle Bachman led rally
its too funny and shows what a pack of liars and fools Fox News people are

The crowd for the event in question was plenty big enough to make the
point.
Doing crap like this just undermines the entire thing and gives ammo

commentary for yankees games. Them two are always making me sick
listening to them. Watching the world series with them both gave me a
ulcer. I'm sick and tired of hearing all the pro yankees and anti who
ever the yankees opponent maybe. Buck and McCarver always are in favor
of the Yankees while they continue to bash the yankees opponent. How can
anyone not notice it? Why don't Buck and McCarver just wear a yankees
jersey and hat when doing commentary for yankees games on Fox.

Really? Lou Dobbs, in the opinion of many, is an idiot. One of those
birther nut cases, etc. He was supposed to be a financial guy, but he
didn't understand finance. Immigration is a serious problem, but
again, Dobbs did not have any serious response other than shouting.
He did all his stuff on immigration during the Bush years and was not
fired. Why now, when no one is caring much about immigration? (Not so
big a problem when there are no jobs here.)
I have not seen any evidence that he was fired --- just that he was
not allowed to convert what was supposed to be a news show into an
opinion show. He had a certain following, but they have been leaving
for Fox, so his ratings were declining. From what I've seen, he saw
the writing on the wall and decided to go out on his own terms. Again,
from news accounts, the people at CNN were surprised at his action. He
did quit CNN once before, as you may know, so walking out is not
something unimaginable for him.

If declining ratings at CNN are 'writing on the wall' there should be
a stampede out the door in Atlanta.
CNN gave an Dobbs $8 Million package on the way out the door. That

I didn't know about the buyout. Wasn't mentioned in the couple of
stories I read. Yes, a buyout sure looks like the equivalent of a
firing.
And yes, CNN ratings generally are down. The right seems to prefer
FOX, the Left MSNBC, and the middle people don't watch political
channels very much (all generalizations needing qualification). CNN
has tried (and failed IMHO) to be a relatively neutral source of news.
It was once a bit left, back when Jane Fonda's husband started it, but
then it kept drifting Right IMHO. Very different show when I've seen
it from time to time in Europe.
