# I love a horn section, and given Manion, Gayton, and Ramm's skills,
they should sound great. Much better than just having Jake.

My late uncle who was never a fan of Carl's (Nor Rice for that matter.
Maybe because he adored Ted.) was fond of the 'an all star from the neck
down'.

My Yaz  story:
Several years ago a local business man had a public 50th birthday party.
Yaz a Mack Fidritch were hired to sign atuographs,  Sitting under a
canopy.  It was over 90 degrees out.  My soet of step son and I waited
for 1 hour 15 minutes in that heat. 15 minutes befre we'd have been next
Yaz quit.   Niether of us wanted the Bird'ssignature.  Adding insult to
injury, as we waked down the long road to the car, in the extreme heat,
Yaz  was chauffered out in an air conditined car.  Puffing on a
ciggarette.  Yet to this day Yaz isstill a favorite of mine.  The mor I
think about it I think I'e told this story here before.  Don't care.
Always ready to bitch again.

My uncle'sone claim to fame, besides being oneo of the gretest men I
ever knew, was going by Ted's hpme in Florida and being invited in for
drinks.  Not sure if it was a case of my uncle being a pest or not but
it was one of the proudest moments of his life and a bown up picture of
the2 wS a center piece at Bernie's wake.
