Yes, a few Yankee fans (or most actually) live in the past. While they had
a few marvellous years they are clearly over now, I don't see it change
next year. Not even a CC, an AJ and a Tex will change that. Look at the
Yankees farm, which players are ready for the big leagues? Hughes looks
promising, but he is to inconsistent, Kennedy isn't good enough, Gardner is
a nice speedy backup but can't seem to hit and I don't know if Austin
Jackson is ready yet. They need to spend millions, their own farm just
doesn't do it. Which is kinda ironic, since Trenton and Scranton aren't
that bad ;)
