I'm embarrassed to have a "president" like this. Just fucking
embarrassing to true Americans.

I am no fan of Obama, but if where a President holds his hands during the
national anthem determines how good or bad a president he is, then we got
real big problems. There are plenty of meatheads who are all to proud of
their country that could run an ant farm, let alone a country.
Lets face it, Obama has been a bad president thanks to his terrible economic
and fiscal policy that will cost future generations, not because of hand
gestures. And being proud sure didn't help Bush any.
Yeah, but before that it was Clinton's fault, right? And after Bush
everything is Obama's fault.
Apparently.

Let's review:
Wars : 800 billion (and counting)
Bailouts: 1.3 trillion
Loss of jobs, bank failures, endless unemployment cost to the economy:
uncalculable
AT LEAST 3 trillion dollars. Yeah. In 10 months he did all that. Or was
that somebody else?

People like faggy will blame eight years of job destruction on 10 months
of Obama and don't even realize that when they say "worse unemployment in
26 years" can't do the math to see what Repugnican hero was in office 26
years ago (and had been for two years).
No, no. It was Obambi.
OWN IT!!!

Sorry, but we're dealing with the here and now in this thread. Invoke
the Ghost of Reagan all you want, it doesn't change the FACTS.
THIS IS OBAMBI'S ECONOMY - OWN IT, LIBS!!!

Yes, I agree on the hand stuff. How silly.
But I want to make a quick comment on the debt issue.
I think at best it is premature to be saying Obama has been a bad
president because of his efforts to get the US out of the deep
recession, tittering on longterm depression, that he inherited from
the prior administration. Yes, the bailouts for the banks that Mr.
Bush achieved (and I supported and still do, with differences on the
details) cost a lot of money. And so did the Stimulus Bill that Obama
engineered. And those measures are all funded by borrowing. You can
hope <g> that they bill will be paid by future generations, but, in
fact, the bills will come due rather too soon for that.
So yes, Obama has run up some big bills. And he (and others --- think
Pelosi) seems to have saved the economy from a deep recession
(indicators suggest we have already emerged from the recession,
although people are still hurting and unemployment is high, etc.).
Believe me, if we had fallen off the economic cliff, as many were
predicting before Obama took office, the cost to the Federal
government, and, more importantly, to the rest of us (including
non-Americans having nothing to do with the matter) would have cost
far, far more than what Obama spent.
I'm not addressing health care, which seems so far to be a pay as you
go plan, albeit an expensie plan. We have to see what happens there.
Wow! Another long thrad for points that could have been made in 1/4
the space. Invalid points (like "saving the economy" - holy shit, if
this is "saved" what would "ruined" look like!), but points
nonetheless.
No wonder McSuck likes Obambi. He thinks more words = smarter.
What a Tour De Farce!
ESCHEW OBFUSCATION!!!
:D
I'm still waiting to see what all this has to do with the Red Sox.
Yeah, but apparently that was all Carter's fault. Or Johnson's. I can't
remember.
