she's 26, that's old enough to make he own decisions, no matter how stupid
thewy might be.
scientology is weirder than people think.
If you're of weak enough mind to become brainwashed, you deserved to be
brainwashed.
Not that scientology, or any other religion, is *bad*, but they're all just
brainwashing institutions.

I did some work for the Church of Scientology a number of years ago. I
wouldn't choose to hang out with the church people that I dealt with,
but they sure did pay their bills on time.

C'mon baby, let your hands hang low
C'mon baby, swaying to and fro
C'mon baby, and join the evolution revolution
They believe God is Satan
No lie. This comes after countless hours of brainwashing and, of course,
mucho $$ given to the "Church". They reach the zenith of the cult when they
come to this end. Picture The Wizard of Oz and when the man behind the
curtain ("pay no attention to that man behind the curtain") is revealed as
the maestro. Scientology "reveals" this to those that have already committed
themselves to go "all the way". My guess is Travolta believes this and many
more of them as well......like Cruise.
FYI. I had a friend leave for them a long time ago in LA. Never heard from
him again. I did some research and trust me, this stuff is freaky-deaky
beyond words gentlemen. It's hard to fathom people can possibly believe this
stuff. But, it's a gradual, slippery slope taken in baby steps. They have
Cruise and Travolta. They have Cameron Diaz. Kirstie Alley (so much for
weight control). Make no mistake....they are not about to let them get near
anyone that believes Scientology is a full blown cult. They are being
watched over and guarded like the money trees/spokesmen they have become for
Scientology.

From what I've heard they do sound like an odd bunch, but I think
objectively you're on thin ice trying to make any single set of religious
beliefs hold up - they're all based on faith and without any hard physical
evidence, it's only the opinions of one man against another when it comes to
deciding whose beliefs are "right" and whose are "wrong".
Where did this list come from? Unless she converted in the last couple of
weeks, this isn't true.
Everything I know about Scientology I learned from (where else?) rotten.com.
Seriously, this is very interesting reading. I can't vouch for its
veracity, but it sounds really bizarre. Although having superpowers would
be cool.

The issue with Scientology is not about their beliefs but about their
conduct.

Yup. Like the overwhelming need to convert people. Like giving Katie Holmes
a guide who goes everywhere with her. I think there's big money involved.
Their basic beliefs don't sound too bad in theory, actually.
Not counting the magical powers stuff ;-)
Can't be any weirder than believing the whole universe was "created" by
some supreme being...in 7 days no less.

TJM is back, while this one sounds too literate to be the: "suck on the
Steelers' dirty Black and Gold c*cks" version of TJM, he does have some
of the same enamoring characteristics. Some mixed signals here though,
I wonder if this is TJM when he's sober? Could this be the positive
influence of Red Sox baseball on his life?
What up T? Glad to see you're still Steppin' Out.
Still bitter about that spanking you took last Halloween, eh D? Man, you NE
cocksuckers just dont know how to recuperate from a royal ass-whoopin. It was 9
mos. ago and you're still crying over it.
how did your boys do in the superbowl? of! excuse me you didn't make the
superbowl.
Yeah, who beat them again? I seem to have forgotten...
LOL..!! Yeah... right... let's see... the Steelers game NEW lost was a
regular season game, and NE got sweet revenge in the playoffs by whuppin'
Shittsburgh for the 2nd time in the past 4 Januarys. WHich would you rather
do...? Win in October or win in January...?

Please tell us all how Shittsburgh will win the Super Bowl this year. Right
now you have a 75% success rate of NE winning it when you've made that
prediction.

No, don't be silly. I'm just curious why you never took the time to
come back to the group and eat crow after you lost yet another AFC
Championship game in Pittsburgh. You sure didn't miss a chance to make
an ass of yourself last year in the Pats newsgroup, you were truly
dedicated to the cause. If only you showed a tenth of that dedication
to admitting that you were wrong. What is odd is that you completely
disappeared from Usenet for months right after the game? Almost as if
you were...hiding? I'm sure there is a very good explanation.
