infielder Nick Green, who saw much more time than anticipated at
shortstop this season, is the recipient of this year’s Jackie Jensen
Award. The award is named after the late Red Sox outfielder and is
presented annually to a Major League player who exhibits "spirit and
determination."

I was not a big Jensen fan - but now that you mention it I do recall
hearing that. Does one have to eat chicken every day to get the Wade
Boggs Award ?
Or be a regular at the Foxy Lady to get the Mo Vaughn Award ?

Hell - I even remember Horace Clark.
But my real heroes were those two Yankee pitchers who were into wife
swapping. Who was that ? Patterson or Peterson or something like that

If so i would like to compete for the Mo Vaughn award. Jensen retired
for a full season because he was afraid to fly. I eat a lot of
chicken, so the Boggs award would be no problem. Would you have to
throw like a girl to be eligible for the Jason Varitek award or is
hitting around .200 enough?
