higher before it hits him. Here's hoping that he'll be okay soon.
Major League Baseball must demand that the manufacturers make the bats
safer. There is no excuse for allowing this nonsense to continue. It
took a coach being killed before baseball put helmets on the base
coaches. I hope that a pitcher being injured will be enough of a wake-
up call to get this bat issue fixed once and for all.
