All three of the major Braves beat reporters - O'Brien, Bowman and
Rosenthal - report that it's a matter of details and Hudson is all but
resigned. Numbers come in at 3 years/24-27 mil, which is a pretty
good hometown discount considering how much Hudson could have made on
this year's FA market.

As someone at BravesJournal said, Hudson is now in Furcal-state, the
limbo between "he's signed" and "no, really, we have the contract and
a shot of him in the jersey, he's really signed." Like Schrodinger's
cat, only with MLB contract status.

Full no-trading clause, I presume.

No, I'm pretty sure Schroedinger would have eventually traded the cat
if he kept failing to produce.

That's good to hear, though I'm surprised about it on Hudson's end. At
the upper end of these numbers, that's a two year/$15m extension, and
it's $12m at the low end. I wonder if the injury freaked him out in
terms of his long-term confidence.
