Michaela Tabb did nothing unusual.
Even Iren Williams or Jan Verhaas dont clean pottet balls befor replacing
them.

Sometimes you see the referee cleaning a ball before spotting it. I am not
sure whether s/he does it because s/he notices that the ball is dirty or
because the player has to ask her/him to do it (just like with the cue
ball).
