Set up:
To your left, some 400 yards away, is a ridge with bushes.
To your right, some 200 yards away, is a large empty water
tank which rings like bell when you throw rocks at it.

Action event:
You glance to your left and see a muzzle flash in the bushes.
The bullet missed you by few inches and hits the tank.

Analysis:
How many "bangs" or "booms" did you hear?
Muzzle explosion, supersonic bullet boom, impact boom?
What other noise phenomena came to your attention?

2 geriatric mental patients, from GB and AT, who just
jerked each other off, but are unable to follow & much
less capable to recognize & answer a simple acoustics
problem, because they may have been hit in their heads
and became the unfortunate victims in this situation here:
