My whole life has been involved with teaching people how to do
things.
For the last 10+ years I have been helping new players and beginners,
kids and adults with their basics so that they will love pool as much
as I do. The majority of those people still play today. Over the
years
I've learned a few tricks that work.
For several years now, friends have been telling me I need to make a
video for pool. I have some experience with videos and I put together
something that ended up being the basis for an aiming trainer, and
they liked it. Now, with their support and encouragement, I have
produced the information with better production values, and created
the Pool 101 DVD with the Otto-Zone Trainer.
All of my neighbors who have pool tables and kids now use this. A
woman who is a pretty good shooter said "it was now a rule at my
house
that my kids can not let their friends play until they watch and
practice with the DVD."
Just to make sure that I was on the right track, I ran this by
several
BCA instructors who have looked at this and support it for beginners
of all ages.
I have some video clips on my web site (www.teachmepool.com). Please
take a look and let me know what your opinions are.
Please help me. I need feedback and ideas on how to get this out.
Thanks for your support.
