How many humans will croak after the race as a direct result of being put
on the prescription drug merry-go-round. It starts out with one drug for
symtoms (not the disease itself, mind you), then another drug for the
symtoms of side effects the first drug caused, and on and on. I don't see
you crying about the pharmasuetical companies making drug addicts of over
half the American people and ?? % of other countries. Methinks your
priorities are a bit misplaced.
Or, maybe you would have horses doing something else, such as pulling a
plow, a carriage of some sort, or some other unnatural activity. Wake up!!
Horses run. thats what they do, thats what they are. Live with it, or maybe
you could see your doctor for another prescription and we'll end up with
one jackass euthanized.

They always euthenize the horses that finish out of the money. Don't you
know anything about the track?

Let there be no doubt tonight -- no doubt!
That they shouldn't have played the Old Gold and Blue.
Not tonight!

That's all well and good, but until the idiots running the "sport" stop
the proliferation of incredibly fast yet fragile animals, the lot of
them will deserve every bit of scorn they receive, and then some.

This post is an omen. I'll say they put one horse down.

ALL of the losers! That's how we improve the breed.

IOW, most horses don't break their maiden, unless they pick maiden races
with very, very small fields.
