I am curious if anyone has any theories on why they don't seem to hold up at
Hawthorne? My original guess is that they work best on dirt tracks with
riding colonies that aren't that strong and result in major pace judgement
mistakes by many of the riders. Any other thoughts? Someone else mentioned
that the Hawthorne surface is one of the most inconsistent in North America.
I am considering the idea of marketing these numbers this winter on the
smaller tracks outside of Florida, New York, and Calidornia. These numbers
are already on the market in those three states from very reputable
companies. I can't find anyone that does them for the smaller tracks though.
Would $2 a track per day, $5 for more than three tracks in a day, $25 a week
for all the tracks I do, and $100 a month seem like a fair value for the
customer? Pretty much the same as buying a program or form that way. I am
interested in all input on this over the next two weeks.
If you would be interested in receiving these pace numbers send me a note
and I will put you on my contact list. Thanks for reading and please share
any and all ideas.
