I have the old california sport goped which i have been trying to
rebuild all week. I was in the middle of replacing the gas lines and
forgot that i needed to hold the gas filter in the tank so i could
connect the lines. The filter fell in the gas tank so i took it out.
Now i cant seem to figure out how to put the gas filter back in its
place to connect the tubes. this is the only thing keeping this thing
from running........... PLEASE HELP..... i am dumb.

Finally a person asking a real motorized Scooter Question cool !
By the way you are not Dumb and this is a good Question.
Push the fuel filter line from the out side thru the tank by
itself far enough to pop thru the top of the tanks filler spout.

After you have done this attach the filter to the end of the gas
line.
Remember to push the filter all the way flush with the end of the gas
line then pull the line from the outside of the tank dragging the
filter
down to the bottom of the inside of the tank.

Lastly do a final little tug on the line and filter to get the buldge
of the
filter nipple to seat in the plastic of the gas tank wall to create
the final
seal for the gas line and you are done ! You repaet this process on
the
air line with the expansion plastic that looks like the nipple end of
the filter
if you need to replace that line !

Bada Boo Badda Bing you are done my frined !...........Ped Racer D

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! I have to fix this engine myself
and everything was fine until i ran into that and sounds like a simple
fix. Thanks again. Do you know the easiest way to clean out the gas
tank too because my cousin lost the gas cap and it was sitting around
for a while and it now has dirt leaves etc. I have tried ti fill it
with water (with the lines unhooked of course) and the stuff still
wont come out!

another question i have though is on this goped there is a wire that
looks like a brake line but it has a clip on the end and it runs down
the bottom of the front fork and just clips onto the front of the
frame. I thought at first it was a way to just add on a front brake
(doesnt have one hooked up) but thats impossible with the amount of
space i have on the handlebars. Its very hard to explain... Anyone
have any ideas that would be alot of help
(sorry for any punctuation errors)
