Many of you may recall the news story on the death of cave diver David

Shaw at the Boesmansgat cave site in South Africa in January of this

year.

About a week after the incident a 20 minute documentary was screened on

South African TV, which included footage from the camera which was

mounted on Shaw's helment.

I happened to be in South Africa at the time and recorded the

documentary. I encoded it into Xvid format, the total size is around

200MBytes.

For anyone who is interested you may download this file with an emule

i opened edonkey and made a search for david shaw under video. click on
that link and it downloads.

Hello,

Downloaded the video and can say that I am really impressed. Being at
that depth , entangled and he was just working smoothly, checking
gauges and computers. Staying calm in moments like this need some good
skills and temprement. May he rest in peace.

it does have audio but for most of the part there is a commentary
overlay. i could not define any sound of breathing. --- but im hard in
hearing anyway ---

I saw the original video (forgot the link, but it is on the net some
where) and yes you can here the increase very very erie.

All I get is sound, and I couldn't hear the breathing rate ... mostly
commentary.

if u try to open / play it on windows media player it mite be that a
codec is missing. im not a pc guru but mayb using another video
software mite help, or find the codec. in this case i use vlc software
(free) which plays nearly any video format.
