I also thought that showing the *WHOLE* tournament was a huge win. The
editing wasn't a problem for me and seeing just a quick glimpse of
strike-after-strike was more than enough -- they could show us all of the
*critical* parts of a seven game series in less time than they'd usually
spend showing us just one, dull game ball-by-ball. Again, if only they
could do that *every* week.
Another big part of this is that you got to see a *LOT* of bowlers. With
this kind of a format we probably WOULD get to see all the big-stars
virtually every week, which I think would be a good thing in terms of
generating fan-interest.
IMO, the "Cheetah" experiment was a *HUGE* success.
