PAINTING A PICTURE ...

Many times in life ... one gives another permission to behave in a way that is
unacceptable ... by making excuses. When one is not OK with the situation,
continuing to paint the picture with time-expired paint ... The message told
... a story that's been told over and over... ~When one is in to excuses, any
excuse will do.
By not saying no ... is saying yes.
Bring to mind painting a tree with "new" paint ... The trunk represents life
... as one practices being assertive, a limb is added ... a clearly defined
boundary. Thus, an opportunity for the other to be accountable for their choice
~ they many choose to be stumped or grow their own limb...
The tree of life offers many limbs ... each with a separate mission, yet a
commonality for all ... growth is a choice.
