I got my job permanently and so now I can breathe easier and look to the
future with the knowledge that I it is only up from here. Also, my
workplace is being regionalised and I may be moving to Toowoomba. A big
move for Cami and I as all our family is here although I do have some
friends in Toowoomba that I have made through work.

Pluses are less smog and traffic, a new start, I could afford to buy a house
out there and finally own something of my own. Cami makes friends easy so
she should be okay. I feel excited and sad all at once but mostly filled
with enthusiam and anticipation for the future.

Hope all of you are well and happy.
Hugs
Kath : )

Kath, that sounds wonderful! Congratulations!
When will you decide for sure about moving?

Hey Michael

I like it too. Also my aborignial grandmother had her first three children
there before the family moved to Wynnum where we now live. Toowoomba means
'water sits down' which is ironic because currently they have had no rain
and they are in desperate need of water.

hugs

Hey Brenda

Well I have to wait to see where my position is transferred to, but I have
nominated Toowoomba as the place I prefer.

Once that happens I then accept it and move straight away (probably a month
to do this) and i am there. We have been told that the new structure must
be in place by July 2009. So anytime between now and then. I am hoping
around Christmas as Cami starts high school in Jan 2009.

High school...wow
Just doesn't seem possible.
Moving and starting fresh can be so exciting.
Good luck to you. I hope everything about the move is positive.

I know High School already. I think she was about two when I first crossed
the threshhold of these hallowed halls. Seems like so long ago and
yesterday at the same time.

I am throwing caution to the wind and letting fate lead me where it will.
Time for something drastic and wonderful to happen to me and Cami me thinks.

So the water's sitting down way to low eh? Wish I could send you some
of ours!!!!! Cami starts Highschool? Wow! THAT almost makes me feel
as old as Amanda turning 22 this Saturday. Time flies way too fast.

Big hugs

So are you having excess rain where you are? Send it on over. We had a
severe drought for a few years but this last year most areas have had good
rain and things have eased off a bit but poor Toowoomba hasn't had much at
all and they are considering water recycling. Amanda's 22 - boy time has
slipped away on us mate.

::smiles:: Congrats Kath! WooooHooo! And yeah, that surely is a fun
place to say.... Toowoomba. (What is the proper pronounceation? Wow,
I can't spell today. Tooooowooomba.

Darn time... for so many years I thought it was all in one's head...
but the clock at the end of the races I run has been telling me
differently. I just can't seem to understand why I'm not as fast as I
once was... I deny it's age... but guess what me? I think it is. :o)

::hugs to all::

Hey RIII

Damn race timers - you would think they would use reliable ones and not duds
now wouldn't you!!! Don't go thinking it is time catching up and we know
for sure that doesn't happen. It is a difficult thing to spell how
Toowoomba sounds now. Let me give it a try here.... 2 - woom - ba - now
here is the difficult part the 'woom' doesn't sound like 'boom' but more
like..... and i can't think of a word that rhymes with it. ha ha

hugs to you and everyone

::smiles:: Hmmmm.... well, there's also no word that rymes with
orange... so maybe it's 2-orange-ba. lol. (Yeah, I crack myself
up.) :o)
