Very strange! I can no more log into the CDE! The hourglass shows up
and the system is blocked.

A common cause is that tooltalk won't start (you should get a pop-up
telling you that, if that's the cause), and tooltalk not starting is
often due to the system being unable to work out what it's called,
e.g. the hostname not resolving to a IP address of the system.

I logged into the Java Desktop and solved the problem with the IP
adress.
