I am setting up 240 watts of 12 volt solar panels (maybe adding wind
power later) for an off-the-grid system at my cabin. I only use the
cabin some weekends, and plan to use the system for a water pump,
refrigerator, lighting, computer and other small appliances, but not

I talked to a EcoBroker and they said my prop. is worth more because of
good Solar potential.
What should I expect my place is worth over say the same situation on the other side of the hill. i.e. in shade 7/24 ?

Looking for good information about active system

Specifically, for antifreeze system with pump, collectors, storage,
etc. I have done a little
reading, enough to know what I think I want to build as a dyi water
heating system to
supplement our electric water heater . There's so much info out there
though, that I figured

I cant seem to add this group into my thunderbird mailprogram, can
this only be browsed via a browser?
