California Solar Project to Occupy 4,900 Acres 
  California Gov. Jerry Brown has fast tracked development of a 750 MW solar photovoltaic project. The NextEra Energy Resources project in Riverside County would be built in two phases; the first by August 2014 and the second in October 2016. As part of the agreement with California, McCoy Soloar Photovoltaic agreed to invest a minimum of $100 million into the state’s economy during development and construction. The company has said 20 permanent full-time jobs will be created when the project is completed.... more »
