Multi-Layer-Mylar Insulation in a vacuum Vacuum

Greetings,

Liquid Nitrogen bottles have to stay insulated from ambient
temperature or they will evaporate off very fast. The insulation used
called MLI (Multi-Layer-Insulation) as I recall. This insulation is
between the outer and inner shell of the LN bottle. This region is
also put under a vacuum and then sealed.

Has anyone looked into using this for say insulating a fridgerator or
something?
