Hey All I'm re-posting this to help answer this question:

"I'm from Florida and have quit my job to get some things in my life
in order. I'm a engineering mechanical designer specializing in CAD.

I want so badly to get off the grid and off the gas. I believe this
could be a really good carrier move.

I've always been interested in free energy and am now going to pursue
getting certified in solar power installation so I can upgrade my
home.

My question is about the various levels of training I would need. I'm
having trouble finding places for such certifications and the few
courses I've found have been full for the last 9 months.

I'm just starting and I want to do some networking to get good
contacts of where and what I should be looking at.

Hope to be see good things from this forum. Thanks."

"Introduction to Renewable Energy"

Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia.

I think they are still running this course and you used to be able to
do it as correspondence.
