FW: Is everybody aware that even Portugal is starting to get its
electric act together?

I saw news that electric scooters are now selling in Portugal, or
perhaps, even Made In Portugal!

However, we'll need to revive the batteries for these electric
"vehicles" (toy?) won't we? There is already a sustainable business in
reviving dead "non rechargeable" as well as NiMH, gel cell (like the
one in this scooter, likely) batteries.

Even better: Even small household batteries can be refilled,
instead of having to be ground up, thru industrial recycling.
Good for consumers, too: For example, a revived
"non-rechargeable" alarm batteries LS 14250 alarm (retail $18) is
sold for only $.01 (1 penny) on online
auction sites. These refurbished batteries are guaranteed,
to be as good as new, with 100% feedback,
and thousands shipped worldwide, apparently.
