I now it sounds stupid but unfortunately tis true. Apparently the housing
prices down there are just that high it would pay for them to be sent
elsewhere in the country.

Hmmm well if the social housing is called 'metropolitan housing" then this
would ring true! They now seem to own most of the old council houses around
the county which i'd say is becoming a monopoly which is funny in a way as
most councils did this as an 'arms length' company, well maybe more like
lets drop it and import social misfits from the globe and get the hosing
benefits from the government so normal people who work full time and
struggle because they don't qualify for housing benefits get moved to some
poo hole, obviously not Nottingham but i did see Walsall mentioned in the
papers. I wish i cud afford to buy but i was conned into signing a contract
to say i couldn't if they put me a shower in!
being just a poor kat i feared tis although i thought id be moved to
Salford ! with the BBC news team! I mean i thought dodge a bullet was the
term they used to describe to mean ' avoided the vest on castration day!' Oh
well may as well learn to talk the ole cockney slang, well I've just been
kicked down the apple and pears and bruised the ole boat race on that there
radiator ! bugger im off to view dick van dyke in Mary Poppins! soon get
the lingo! well from what i get on the 48 every day will be a welcome
change?

Don't worry we're getting used to kitty speak ;-)

One thing though, buying, especially in your estate may well be a negative
thing. It was for me in mine.

Since buying I've had to get the bathroom done, leaseholders got it free.
I've had to get new UVPC windows, leaseholders got it free, central heating,
fitted kitchens etc etc etc.

Owning may be nice in theory but in practice it's a different kettle of
fish...

I'm suprised cats haven't heard about fish kettles.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004E2HBWK/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=fishkettle-21&linkCode=as2&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B004E2HBWK

Expensive though, and no bells and whistles.
