Some might argue the teacher was just doing her job, getting the
kid's mind straight about politics.

Maybe it's the kid who indeed should be locked up, for recording
his teacher at work? And yes, perhaps for his opinions/questions.

How do we know a private voucher-paid school of whatever type would
teach kids politics right? Although, many Catholics are liberals,
Montessori, etc. I presume..

There's also the teachers' welfare to consider. Private teachers might
have a lot more expected of them, private schools etc. I doubt either
the government our empowered parents would let things go by so much.
People like Romney like to have power to fire, and then also - the
parents would have that by moving their kids elsewhere, writing letters,
etc. that might be ignored now..

This makes life harder for teachers.

It's always the kids, the kids, the kids. Let's think about teachers for
once. Society has more investment in the teachers, and their welfare
should come first.

Anyway, we're moving into a sustainable economy where less work will be
done and there will be less need for knowledge on the part of peoples..
Only the leadership class needs to be trained, and the peoples can play
and do some work in the fields. Be happy.
