Ever since the revelations that the torture of Abu Zubaydah provided
only false leads, conservatives have jumped on a Bush-era memo
claiming that torture of KSM stopped an attack in LA. This is false,
and easily proven so.
According to the Bush White House, the mastermind of that attack was
arrested in February 2002 .

They confirmed this again in a fact sheet . All well and good.
KSM was arrested on March 1, 2003 .

How is it possible that torture done over a year after plot was broken
up and the mastermind was arrested stopped that exact same plot?
So we torture our own servicemen during training? Why do you lie and smear
your own country?

False because the plot was discovered and it never happen because it was
thwarted?
Which kind of democrat are you, a lair or an idiot?
Or maybe a lying idiot?
One thing we know is that the Ft. Hood plot sure as fuck wasn't thwarted.

I hear lots of chest-thumping, and no actual explanation how torturing

But, once again good old police legwork beats chest-thumping. Or
waterboarding...

Only a liberal pussies thing water-boarding is torture. You have no idea
what torture is.
Anyone who says it's not torture is volunteering.
I remember a number of right wing bloviators, including Sean Hannity,
volunteered to undergo water boarding to show it wasn't torture. Hannity
chickened out, the way he does, but a couple of others did -- and very
promptly changed their minds. Even though they were widely condemned by
the torture apologists, they came right out and said unequivocably, it
is torture.

Only Nixon can go to China. That's why the waterboarding of Chicago-based
radio host Matthew Erich "Mancow" Muller has the potential to end the
sophistry surrounding the medieval torture technique in conservative circles
for good.
Last Friday, Mancow did what higher profile skeptics of the charge that the
Bush administration engaged in torture don't have the courage to do. Where
Fox News host Sean Hannity last month glibly agreed to be waterboarded ("I'll
do it for charity"), Mancow actually underwent the procedure during the live
broadcast of his popular morning show.
