Why would anybody in their right mind take their Rasmussen poll
seriously? Their poll uses an automated dialer, and only Republicans
are dumb enough to talk to a recording. Republicans like machines
more than they like people. That's because they are much like
machines themselves - being programmed by right-wing corporate stooges
like Rush Limbaugh.

Hey Trebor,
How's it going? You seem awfully cheerful today. You still want to murder
all the rich people?

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot lift the wage
earner by pulling down the wage payer."
--Abraham Lincoln

"Money does not bring ultimate security. This is not to say that money is
evil. Or that those who have it are wicked. Let's once and for all put to
bed the old cliche: "God loves the poor and hates the rich." Nowhere does
God condemn the rich for being rich. For sure, he hates false gain, wrong
motives for getting rich, and lack of compassionate generosity among the
wealthy. But some of the godliest biblical characters, even in today's
terms, were exceedingly prosperous: Job, Abraham, Joseph, David, Solomon,
Josiah, Barnabas, Philemon, and Lydia, to name a few."
--Charles Swindoll

"I will not be a party to stealing money from one group of citizens to give
to another group of citizens; no matter what the need or apparent
justification. Once the coffers of the federal government are open to the
public, there will be no shutting them. Again, it is the responsibility of
the citizens to support the government. It is not the responsibility of the
government to support its citizens."
--President Grover Cleveland

There was an article in the Washington Post Weekly Edition some months
back on polls. Polls using machines are far more likely to lead to errors
because people are far more likely to lie to s stinkin' machine
than to a real human. People lying to pollsters IS a major problem.
