The New York Times Co. fell into a deeper financial hole during the
first quarter as the newspaper publisher's advertising revenue plunged
27 percent in an industrywide slump that is reshaping the print media.
Its shares dived after the results were released Tuesday.
The owner of The New York Times, The Boston Globe, the International
Herald Tribune and 15 other daily newspapers lost $74.5 million, or 52
cents per share, in the opening three months of the year. That
compared with a loss of $335,000 at the same time last year, which was
break-even on a per-share basis.

Don't gloat too much. It has little to do with any perceived
political alignment. All newspapers....ALL...are suffering from low
circulation and ad revenues. In the cite you gave from Yahoo finance
we see:

MSNBC: 500,000
and then automatically assume from the numbers that MSNBC is "going

Of course, using their absurd logic, we can put the following numbers up:
NBC: 15 million
CBS: 13 million
ABC: 12 million
Fox Noise: 2 million
and then inanely infer that Fox Noise must be "going under" for relative
lack of viewership.
Businesses go under when costs/outgo exceed sales/revenues/income. Right
wingers appear to have NO CLUE whatsoever that a viewership of 500,000
must mean that costs/outgo exceed sales/revenue/income, when in fact

One of my major complaints was that I have trouble riding a bicycle

Recently I tried a friend's recumbent and managed it pretty
comfortably, so I think I'm going to buy one. We have some really
nice bike trails around here and my gal is a biker from way back..
That's probably why she has such great legs.
I used to ride a lot.. We've both done 100+ mile/day bike trips,
back before we met and we talk about it a lot. She's not decided if
she will get a 'bent' too, although the lady whose bike I tried says
that they give great workout for the abs and that interests her.
