Right now Canada has lower business taxes (corporation, dividend,
capital gains and estate) than the U.S.
But these taxes could still be considerably lower, including income
taxes, while the Americans are going to be facing ,with Obama's huge
projected deficits, continuous high spending and the huge tax
increases initiated by government-run health care.

Canada has other business or capitalist advantages over the Americans.
For example, the former's banking
system is on a more sound and conservative footing. Its housing and
real estate financing is in much better
shape; not as highly leveraged.

Even Canada's social insurance entitlement is run in a more business-
like and responsible way. For instance,
the Canada Pension Plan it putting contributors' payments to work as
investments in the CPP fund which is investing diversely in stocks,
bonds, commodities and real estate globally. Whereas the irresponsible
U.S. Democrat Congress throws all working citizens' contributions into
a slush fund and immediately spends the money (often not wisely)
leaving an enormous unfunded liability. George Bush tried to
privatize, to a degree,
US social security but his plan was rejected by a socialist Congress
with even may Republicans voting against
it.

Even socialist Quebec has its provincially-run social security
investment fund, the Caisse, This illustrates how
far to the left the U.S. has moved in recent years.

I heard recently that the anti-business climate under the Obama
government is causing many business leaders
and corporations (Goldman Sachs was mentioned) to think about
relocating their companies in a more capitalist-friendly environment--
and that means off shore. If Canada lowered its business taxes (these
would be supply-side cuts) it could become very attractive as a a
place for U.S. businesses to relocate. Thus with
ower business taxes Canadian government revenues would increase and
the nation would become more
prosperous--just as economists Adam Smith, F.A. Hayek, Ludwig von
Mises, Milton Friedman, Arthur Laffer
predicted.

WHAT government-run health care? Wishful thinking?

Canda's banks remained under control despite loud and shrill Tory - Reform
noise to
'free up our banks' so they can compete with American banks
And now these same dolts point to this Liberal denial to allow bank mergers
and regulation as the underpins of THEIR policy.
