Canada store owner defeats anti-Israel boycotters

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4194633,00.html

The story of Shani Bar-Oz, a Canada-based Israeli facing venomous
protests outside her Vancouver soap products store, elicited a huge
wave of support and generated new business, the shop owner old Ynet.

"I received a huge embrace and plenty of support," Bar-Oz said, after
an article about her plight appeared on Ynet. In the story, the store
owner, who insists on selling Israeli products, shared her fears of
contending with anti-Israel protesters targeting her business and
shouting anti-Semitic slogans.

This is good news.

I am proud the terrorist did not win this time. If she wants to
sell goods made from all over the world including Israel it is not
some Palestinian's business. The protest actually backfired. I love
that.

It is good people see the Palestinians for what they are all
Terrorist. That is what you want people to believe about all
Israeli's correct?.

I was and am happy the protesters actually helped with her
business. They did not intimidate the to stop selling Israeli goods.

Maybe we should start protesting all things Muslim in Canada

No I do the same. Those that represent terrorist and stand
outside the store intimidating people are. If I choose the sell these
things I can. Maybe we should all demonstrate at all Palestinians
businesses in the USA. I mean they are as much Terrorist as are all
Jews Zionist. Then again terrorist lovers don't see that.

No if I tried to walk in that store and she got in my face shed be
on her ass real quick as would you of any terrorist lover,

Yes we should protest all Palestinian businesses in the USA and
Canada. Lets see there are a few in Seattle to start. PAste signs
saying to do business with them supports terrorist. Just as true as
what this Palestinian women was saying about that store.

Wonder if they have a web site I'll have to give them business as my
form of protest against terrorism.

If the settlers are as stupid as the Palestinians and fire
missiles out of those settlements, I can guarantee you Israel would
take action. Real quick too.

What do you think is going to happen when the idiots inside Gaza
fire missiles into Israel. Everyone else knows Israel is going to
fire back. Personally I would just cut off power, water and food 1
day for every missile. Let Egypt take up the slack.

MEK? I side with Ketone?

What if someone blocks my way I don't bow before them. I'd do the
same if Fred Phelps and his nutcases blocked my way. I'd do the same
if you did. You do have the right to protest but you do not have the
right to block entry or scream into a persons face.

Now I know I have upset you and Allah, but please don't be a nutcase

again they know Obama will just send money to fix what they destroy.

Boycott all you want. I'm just glad it failed. Hamas and it's
followers are terrorist.

BTW are you Richard Steels wife/husband? You did a cut and paste.

It is only in manner of degree. Tell me how can you support all

Muslims. Tell me what did those kids murdered on 9/11 ever do to any

Israelis current prime minister is a ass. I have no proof but he

Your just mad that the store is doing so good. That the protest
backfired and the people of Canada saw it for what it was. Canada is
a good place and many different groups live there. Most came to get
away from the problems in thier home countries.

Most the Muslims I know in the States aren't to happy with the
terrorist either. There are good Muslims just not any good radicals.

When I was researching the French Resistance and the British Special
Operations Exective, I became aware of many references and citations
to a book called 'Nous Les Terroristes'. You see, that was what Nazi
and Vichy propaganda called the French Resistance...'terrorists'...
They also singled out captured members who were Polish expatriates or
Jews.

The history of Zionism itself is replete with terrorist groups
responsible for assassination, sabotage, and (in the partition period)
atrocities perpetrated against ordinary civilian men, women, and
children.....Irgun, the 'Stern Gang', all neatly brushed under the
carpet. Mainstream Zionists thought that they were shit.....and were
quite happy (in wartime, at least) to see the British string a few of
them up....

You see, to use a hackneyed phrase, 'one man's terrorist is another
man's freedom fighter'.....

So, using 'terrorist' as a general adjectival label is not only plain
silly, but muddies the waters. All terrorism has a distinct political
and historical context that frames it.

I have a long memory. As a teenager, rightly or wrongly, I helped
organise boycotts against businesses that traded with South Africa,
because I thought Apartheid was evil. British Trade Unions supported
anti-German boycotts in the 1930's, because their members were opposed
to Nazism and Jewish persecution. Was I a terrorist? Were they?

So are you saying those that did 9/11 were freedom fighters? Those
that blow themselves up outside Mosques are freedom fighters?

Do you consider Hamas to be freedom fighters when they blew up all
those kids in a club done with a suicide bomb? They targeted those
teens. Gaza had a chance at freedom Israel left, even left them a
fully functional greenhouse system which they destroyed. They did not
give it a chance.

Islam is much like the Nazi's except instead of being the superior
race they think themselves the superior religion.

So to you and the left all these bombing done many times a week are
done by freedom fighters.

That dutch parliament member now in hiding is being targeted by
freedom fighters. Dutch were dumb they let in a bunch of immigrants
that now claim they own the country? Lesson there never let Muslims
in.

The Muslims in Florida I knew had no trouble living side by side with
everyone. Although to a certain leftist they are pale Muslims to me
they showed the best of Islam. Never did see them in a burka although
some wore scarves.

Well maybe I need a better word and yet the word terrorist when
you hear it what comes to mind after watching the news?

Most think of Muhammad wearing a bomb.

Does any 'terrorist' target kids in particular? You could ask IRA
sympathisers in a Boston bar....

Someone might think so........otherwise, they would have no support
(however limited that support might be).

I don't agree with any form of terrorism. Full stop. Doesn't matter
whether it's Palestinian extremists, Zionist 'settlers', or the
Israeli Army. I'm sure that these 'terrorists' thought that (in the
circumstances) they were doing the right thing.

Assuming that this is true, I'm not sure what this has to do with
anything....

The 'left'? Where does the 'left' (whatever you mean by that term)
come into the equation?

Maybe they think that they are. I'm sure that the 'terrorists' who
destroyed my city centre and killed two children in an adjacent town
thought that. But they were financed and supported by your countrymen,
so I suppose it doesn't count....

Actually, this is what happened....(I know it for a fact). Steve was
never in College (which is why he refuses to divulge information about
his academic career or qualifications). Steve needed the money he
earned so much that he was prepared to take the bread out of the
mouths of his workmates' children, and be a blackleg. But he chose the
wrong lot. He tried to cross the picket-line, but they lost their
temper (he wasn't a likeable guy in the first place). So the proceeded
to kick the shit out of him. Then their wives turned up. They pulled
his pants down and smeared his balls with oil and heavy duty grease,
the kind that's almost impossible to get rid of. That's the
traditional fate of blacklegs. Of course, Steve has never got over
this, and has been rather deranged ever since...he walks around
muttering to himself. Unfortunately, he has access to a computer and
the internet, and now stalks people as targets of his vengeful
wrath...payback time!

You see, Steve, my fantasy is as good as yours......

<LOL> nice snip job.. here's the whole quote..

Many people think that you have to wait to be physically attacked to
defend yourself. Often, in a charged situation, someone getting into
your personal space, making threats or otherwise indicating that they
have the intent to do physical harm to you or another person can be
grounds for using physical force to defend yourself.

Poor old worthington imagined that he could garner some respect on
Usenet by claiming a Ph.D. and an interest in swinging.. Instead, he
becomes the subject of ridicule and mockery.

This is from pro-KKK, Barry Worthington who insists that
his racist hero, Woodrow Wilson, and his staff were 100%
honest when they told the NAACP that Wilson would never
have selected his friend's racist movie, "The Birth of a
Nation," for viewing at the White House had they known
it's racist theme...

Oh no, even though it was based on
and originally named "The Clansman" after the widely
circulated book and popular play au.thored by his racist
friend.

Worthington insists upon blustering about the USA while
demonstrating his ignorance about it.

It seems very likely that Worthington's "understanding" of
the U.S reconstruction period came straight from that
infamous movie/book. (see below)

"They [the reconstruction era Ku Klux Klan] were tring to dislodge what they
saw as a Northern imposed political elite...the majority
of whom happened to be coloured. You don't know much about
this period of history, do you?"
-- Barry Worthington

<chuckle> Irony anyone? ...as if there was any significant
"Northern political elite...the majority of whom happened to be
coloured."

In the book /Oryx and Crake/, the crime of "interfering with the
commercial sale of products" is a crime punishable, indirectly, by
death. (Meaning Big Brother finds some other excuse to whack you. Such
as labeling you a "terrorist". Boomf!)

Oh?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_the_People%27s_Republic_of_China#Religions

The Chinese government has implemented state atheism since 1949, which
makes it difficult to ascertain data on the religious population
figures. Thus making the relation between Government and religions was
not smooth in the past. But in fact, the people are still holding
private worship of traditional religions (Buddhism/Taoism) at
home.[13][15] In recent years, the Chinese government has opened up to
religion, especially traditional religions such as Mahayana Buddhism,
Taoism and Confucianism because the Government also continued to
emphasize the role of religion in building a "Harmonious Society," which
was a positive development with regard to the Government's respect for
religious freedom.[16]

According to the old Chinese government estimate, there were "over 100
million followers of various faiths" in China.[17] Other estimates put
about 100 million or about 8% Chinese who follow Buddhism, with the
second largest religion as Taoism (no data), Islam (19 million or 1.5%)
and Christianity (14 million or 1%; 4 million Roman Catholics and 10
million Protestants).[18] According to the 1993 edition of The Atlas of
Religion, the number of atheists in China is between 10 and 14 percent.[19]

Additionally, the BBC reported in February 2007 that "a poll of 4,500
people by Shanghai university professors found 31.4% of people above the
age of 16 considered themselves as religious", a figure that represents
300 million people.[20] Among those surveyed, about 2/3 were "Buddhists,
Taoists or worshipers of legendary figures such as the Dragon King and
God of Fortune." Other religions represented significantly in that
survey were Christianity (40 million) and Islam. China is also known to
have small numbers of people who follow Hinduism, Dongbaism, Bon and a
number of new religions and sects (particularly Xiantianism and Falun
Gong). The official China Daily called the Shanghai professors' research
"the country's first major survey on religious beliefs".[21] The Chinese
government have accepted these new numbers. The wide disparity among
these estimates underscores the difficulty of accurately surveying the
religious view of a nation of over a billion people and the lack of
reliable data.

However, some surveys suggest that the cultural adherents or even
outright religious adherents of Buddhism could number as high as 50% to
80% of the population, or about 660 million to over 1 billion.[22][23]
Some estimates for Taoism as high as 400 million or about 30% of the
total population,[24] but Adherents.com argues that these are actually
numbers for Chinese folk religion or Chinese traditional religion, not
Confucianism and Taoism themselves.[25]

The number of adherents to these religions can be overlaid in percentage
due to the fact that mostly Chinese consider themselves both Buddhist
and Taoist.[26][27][28][29] However, it was difficult to estimate
accurately the number of Buddhists because they did not have
congregational memberships and often did not participate in public
ceremonies.[30]

The minority religions are Christianity (between 40 million, 3%,[20] and
54 million, 4%[31]), Islam (20 million, 1.5%), Hinduism, Dongbaism, Bon
and a number of new religions and sects (particularly Xiantianism and
Falun Gong).

According to the surveys of Phil Zuckerman on Adherents.com; in 1993,
59% (over 700 million)[32] of the Chinese population was irreligious but
in the newest survey (same author) in 2005, it was only 14% (over 180
million)

Actually, most Jews are NOT Zionists. Not in America, and I doubt even
in Israel.

However, in America Jewish Zionists are outnumbered by Xian Zionists, and
there's a big difference between the two. Xian Zionists want to keep
Israel going because it has to be there for Armageddon, so God can smite
it and damn all its inhabitants to hell forever.

These don't strike me as good allies. Israel is kind of in the position
of a steer who believes the rancher feeds him each day because the
rancher loves him and wants him to live a long, healthy life.

Wasn't there a group that thought if they caused enough violence in
that area they would cause Christ return?

I have never met a Zionist that I know of. Christian, Jew or
Muslim.

If all sides in this could ignore and disarm their Radicals they

Yes Hamas did a few times. They sent a suicide bomber into a
place kids partied and blew it up. So yes some do. They send suicide
bombers to attack people leaving worship men, women and children and
just outside a Mosque blow them up. Did these freedom fighters you
mention do that?

I thought the IRA had made peace now. Protestant vs Catholic, Sunni
vs Shia if it is the same god who cares if they worship slightly
different.

Yes several and they came here to the USA to get themselves and

I've been all over Europe and not for enough time to really get to

read the Dutch news. Seems to oppose immigration is a death sentence
there. The only place I felt unconformable was London.

No not really. That lawmaker has been threatened and another
killed a few weeks ago. The leader of the Muslims in the country has
not condemned either the murder or the threats against the women
lawmaker. I'm sure there are good people of all faiths there. Then
again that doesn't excuse the murder and threats.

Tell me were all Catholics or all Protestants bad in your area

It's a little bit more thanreligious differences. Sadly, an IRA

I would want to know why. Then I would try and eliminate the causes of

Most people would think that they came to the US to make a better life
for themselves...and that would be purely a calculation based upon
economic and social opportunity. Muslim 'radicals' would not be a
consideration. The fact that you think it might be suggests that you
are a fool...

No I am against murder and terrorist. Like I have said there are
good and bad in all races and religions. Seems leftist have a filter
on anything anti-terrorist.

Like I said I am just glad the protest backfired and her business
actually got more costumers.

What I have noticed is that many leftist are pro terrorist or

Muslims have special rights. I'd just open my jacket a little
if she blocked me. Then chew a pork sausage and return her spittle.

Leftist terrorist lovers think only their buddies have any rights.

The palestinian dog just helped Israel. That alone is great to me.

BTW see the leftist are mad at you now. How dare you not bow
before them. They show what is so evil about the far left and why
support for democrats is questionable.

No it was the protesters in the wrong. Should have had some mace
for them.

A comment about puppetry must appear that way to someone with a mind
like yours....

Dr. Barry Worthington

P.S. That trap was large enough to catch an elephant...only someone
who is monumentally stupid would fall into it....

See you live in a make believe world. I dislike all forms of
terrorism. You r just locked into the past and can't think beyond
your hate.

BTW firing missiles into Israel from Gaza is plain stupid. Don't like
the results don't fire the missiles. Hamas and you terror buddies
don't care if people die makes good PR as you have shown.

I could care less if they wear the full thing. There choice.
They choose not to and reject the Islamic teachings. That too is
their choice. All the years I lived there they were good people and
neighbors.

There were people wearing turbans and even people wearing robes.
Not sure what religion or race they were. They harmed no one.

Did I say differently just these people choose not to. Their choice.
There is no requirement in the Koran they wear the burqa. They have
rejected that teaching again their choice.

The Constitution works for all people not just criminals like you

2 criminals found that out in Florida and Oklahoma and are now 6 feet

world is a better place.
