It began to get warm
Our ills began to swarm
With angst and fears
That the worst was to come

'They wouldn't do that'
Was the thought of the times
Then, of course, it happened
But what's the point
Just pass another...

But soon it was seen
that bad times were the norm
you can only be so happy
even if the girls swear
that if they wear that dress
the matches of desire
will not be caressed

So courage was summoned
