Press Release
August 14, 2007
I am actively looking for deaf tutors because they are so hard to
find. Many times, I get private tutoring requests from deaf students
that I cannot accept due to a full schedule. I have also learned that
there is a lack of deaf tutors available for vocational rehabilitation
to use as service providers for their deaf clients. In addition, a
community college also had a difficult time finding a deaf tutor for
their deaf students through word-of-mouth alone.
Hence, a website is being designed to be a central hub of deaf tutors
for other people and organizations to easily find. This website would
be ready sometime in October this year. If you know deaf people who
might be interested, please let them know about this deafetutors.com
site. In the meantime, they can sign up for one of the online
deaftutors groups on Yahoo, MSN, or Google or browse the deaf tutoring
resources currently listed.
