Something is fishy about her. She has made the EXACT same original post
and EXACT same responses all over webtv newsgroups. Looks like she's
playing games. Many folks have been kind enough to respond to her and
most tell her to forget it and mind her own business. Good advice
whether she's playing games or not--but I think she is.

Telling her to forget it and mind her own business may or may NOT be good
advice. Whether it is or not is purely your opinion or the opinion of
someone else stating such advice. But as to whether a person posts the exact
same original post on several newsgroups or not really isn't *your*
business. Sometimes people want to solicit advice/opinions from various
groups rather than just one. My opinion about your concern is that you
should forget it and mind your own business.

Cheryl, sorry you feel that way. I just hated to see this helpful and
informative group be toyed with. I agree, sometimes people do solicit
opinions in several groups, but "Michelle" went to many, many groups
and, as I said, her responses were "canned." All her responses are the
same in all the groups as she made here regardless if they had anything
to do with what others told her or said. But, you go ahead and defend
it, that's your perogative. Sorry to the regulars here for my
intrustion.

She seems to have a vendetta against her neighbor. Proof??? Long as in
her post here. This one is from 2005:

Hello Everyone,

I am new here and am looking for some help or information please.
Unfortunately, I do not live in the country, but I wish I did, I hate
the city. If I could afford it, I would move to the country and away
from all the hustle-bustle, traffic, and people.

I found this group when I was doing a search at Google for "problem
neighbors" so I guess I will post my problem here. I live in a "old"
residential part of the city where the homes in the neighborhood are
all
right next to one another. The homes are probably about 30 feet from
one
another. Well as you guessed it, my problem is with one of my
neighbors.

My neighbor who lives to the right of me is the problem. His driveway
is
on the right side of my home where the grassy area is ( my driveway is
on the the left side of my house ). His driveway is about 12 feet
wide,
then he has 2 feet of ( grass ) property line, and the rest of the
yard
to my house is my property.

On my grassy area, I have some flowers, rose bushes, 2 small dwarf
Alberta trees, a small pine tree and another small decorative tree.
One
of the things that really angers me is that I take alot of pride and
do
alot of hard work to keep my yard clean and looking nice, and he knows
this because he is always watching me all the time, because he is
always
home, 24 hours a day, because he is collecting disability income from
the government because of is "bad back".

Anyway one of the things he does is he stands out on his small back
porch about every ten minutes and smokes his white Marlboro Lights,
and
when he gets done, he throws his cigarette butts over into my yard!!!
I
will go to bed at nightime, and wake up the next morning and go
outside
to water my plants and flowers and there will be like 7 white smoke
butts on my lawn. WHY can't he throw them in his backyard?? WHY can't
he
put them in a jar or a bucket?? NO, he throws them in my yard. I
usually
pick up the stupid cig. butts and throw them away but what I did a few
weeks ago was start counting how many cig. butts he is throwing into
my
yard. I started picking them up on Monday all the way to Sunday. One
week there was 63 in my yard. The next week there were 57, and another
week there were 65. So basically he is throwing about 60 cig. butts a
week into MY yard, not to mention his cigarette wrappers as well!!!

Now I doubt that there is anykind of law to prevent him from doing
this,
but hopefully there is for my next question. In the winter he uses his
snowblower and blows all the snow from his driveway into my yard. He
runs the snowblower so high that snow hits the side of my house and my
windows. If we have a big snowstorm, all the snow in my yard, plus his
from his driveway, will bury my basement windows, my flowers, and my
two
small dwarf Alberta Spruce trees. I can't understand WHY he has to
throw
the snow over into my yard?? WHY can't he blow the snow down his
driveway and into his backyard??

He aims the snowblower toward my home and blows the snow into my yard,
onto my freshly shoveled front stairs, and my freshly shoveled front
sidewalk, where if someone were to fall down in front of my home, I
would be sued because of HIS SNOW!!!

Last year he was blowing the snow over into my yard, and a rock from
his
driveway shot out from his snowblower and hit the side of my house!!
Now, I have TRIED to be NICE and have talked to him about this. In the
summer, he complained to me that the branches on my pine tree and my
flowering pear tree were growing toward his driveway, and that he
didn't
want them to scratch his mini-van and pickup truck. So I decided to be
nice and I trimmed the branches growing toward his driveway nice and
short so that they were out of his way and there were no more
problems.

So the other day when we got 4 inches of snow, he was out there bright
and early blowing the snow into my yard. So I went out there and
NICELY
asked him WHY he has to blow the snow into my yard and against my
house,
and he said "because he wants to clear his driveway, and doesn't want
to
walk in the snow". So then I told him that I don't want him to blow
the
snow into my yard and against my house because last year a rock came
flying out from his snowblower and hit the side of my house, and I
don't
want to get any broken windows or holes in my new vinyl siding. So
then
he said "its only snow, it'll melt, what are you gonna do about it?"
So
instead of losing my temper and doing something that I would regret, I
walked away.

So, it was okay when he complained about my trees branches, I was the
nice person and trimmed them right up for him, but when I aksed him to
NOT throw snow into my yard, he was a total JERK about it.

So does anyone know if there are any laws what-so-ever about
snowblowing
snow into someone elses yard??

Thanks for reading all this and listening to me vent out my
frustration,
and for any info. you might be able to give me.

P.S.
Alot of you are probably thinking why I don't just put up a fence. I
already got a few estimates LAST SPRING and because the property line
is
long on the sides of our homes it will be $1700 dollars to install a 6
foot wooden stockade fence right down the property line and
unfortunately I don't have an extra $1700 for a fence right now, but
when I do get it, you can bet there will be one going up. But for now,
WHAT can I do??

Thanks!!

Yes, Cheryl is exactly right. I did post in about 5 or 6 groups asking
the same question, so that I could get different opinions and answers
from people, what is wrong with that??

When I have a question about something, I always post in numerous groups
to get a VARIETY of answers.

Did you see my "pumpkin plant" question in those groups as well?? If you
would have bothered to notice, you would have saw that I asked the same
EXACT question about growing pumpkin plants, and I posted that in about
7 or 8 DIFFERENT groups as well.

Just like in 2005 when I posted about my jerk neighbor throwing snow at
my house with his snowblower, I posted that in several groups.

When I asked about how to "tame" an aggressive cat I adopted, who was
beaten with canes and severely mistreated, by crazy old folks at a
nursing home, I posted that SAME question in about 10 to 15 DIFFERENT
pet groups!!!!!

When I asked about using "organic topsoil" in my yard, I post the SAME
question in like 5 different groups.

When our lawnmower was leaking gas last year, I asked the same question
in like 4 or 5 different lawn groups.

Etc, etc, etc, etc.

So when you have a question or opinion about something, you only ask ONE
person only???

Well, I like to get a plethora of information, answers, and opinions, so
I post in a variety of groups and NOT just one.

How would you like it if you lived in a home with your neighbors houses
being about 10 -15 feet away from yours, and your neighbor was using his
snowblower full-blast, with the shoot aimed straight up, and blowing ALL
of the snow from his driveway into your yard, and hitting the side of
your house with the heavy snow, and then all of sudden a rock from his
driveway shoots out and hits the side of your house!!! Then he proceeds
to shoot the snow from his driveway all over your freshly shovelled
sidewalk and front steps and front walkway!!

Then when you go over to the guy, and try to be nice, and ask him to
please stop blowing snow into your yard, and hitting your house with
snow, and blowing snow all over your freshly shovelled sidewalk, he says
to you "Well, it's only snow", how would you like it??

How would you like your neighbor hitting the side of your newly sided
house with snow from his snowblower, EVERY SINGLE SNOWSTORM, EVERY
SINGLE WINTER!?

How would you like it when he throws down ten 5 gallon buckets of sand
and rock salt, on his driveway after EVERY snowstorm, and then when the
next snowstorm comes, ALL of that sand and rock salt ends up in YOUR
yard thanks to him snowblowing EVERYTHING thats in his driveway at your
house, and into your yard, so that in the spring when all the snow
melts, your side yard looks like a freaking beach, and all your flowers,
grass, and trees are DEAD because of the rock salt, which kills trees,
grass, and flowers!!!

Then the guy says that he can't "NO WORK" at all, and not do "ANY kind
of physical activity" because of his "bad back" and "14 different
medications".

You would probably have a "vendetta" against him too.

If you read one of my earlier posts, you will see that I wished you

against him (SSDI fraud, the snow blower, and other things only you
know). Alot of people have problems with their neighbors. Assuming
what you just posted about him is true, I would make life a little
uncomfortable for him. But I do not think I would necessarily post in
a NG about it. But that is my opinion. Regardless if other people
agree or disagree with you, the most important thing is what you
think. If you think he is committing SSDI fraud, then it is solely
your decision to report him or not. If the guy is being an assh*le
neighbor (rocksalt, spying, snow blower, etc.), then deal with him the
best way you think. Again, I wish you the best in whatever you decide
to do regarding your neighbor.

There are other postings you have made since 1998 that I will not even
dare mention in this NG or in any other. But I will say that you do
live a very unconventional, but "colorful", life in some ways.

Sounds like Michelle may be eligible for Social Security Disability herself.

It apparently has never dawned on her that each time she witnesses her
neighbor looking at her, she would also have to be looking at him. He is
probably thinking of turning her in for something too.

Then, counting the cigarette butts he threw in her yard on a weekly
basis . . . apparently the disabled neighbor isn't the only one who has
nothing to do.

I would speak to him about keeping his snow off of your property.

I would inform him the next time you clean his snow off of your pavement
he will receive a bill for the removal. Then I would check my local
ordinances and file a complaint with the city and/or police department.

I would file in small claims court if necessary to recover any damages.
You would first have to have documented the problem resulted from his
negligence by having formally complained or reported the problems.

Completely irrelevant to what you are complaining about.

Everything I wrote about the cat is true, why would I make that up? He
was rescued from a nursing home where people would hit him with their
canes, spit at him, throw things at him, step on his tail, urinate at
him, etc, etc.

I don't hate old people but you know how they can be. Some old people
are nice, and some old people turn out crazy and senial.

So I rescued the cat from that environment, and adopted him. But now is
is VERY aggresive toward humans. SOMETIMES he will let me pet him, but
ONLY when HE wants to be petted. Other times he will take a swipe at
you, if he doesn't want to be bothered.

Everytime the mailman comes to the door to put the mail in the mailbox,
he goes crazy and jumps up on the door and tries to attack the
mailman!!!

But you can't really blame the cat though after the way he was treated.
If people were beating you with canes all day long, and peeing on you,
and stepping on you, and throwing stuff at you, you would probably hate
them too and want to attack them.

So I don't why you called me a liar and told me that I made it up about
the cat being aggressive?????

How about you go to a nursing home, and let the old folks there beat you
with their canes everyday, and lets see how you turn out in a few
years!!!!

Where did I say that you made it up? I said "assuming that what you
posted is true". That is not an accusation of lying. All that meant
was that this is Usenet and not everything that is posted is true. It
is nothing personal. It is just a way of saying that I give you the
benefit of the doubt that you are not lying.

Whoaaaaaaa............excuse me, but it was me that gave you the link
to PETA to file a complaint. Remember? I'm not an activist against
animal cruelty (or for that matter, condone animal cruelty). I just
provided you with the information.

If you were to read my original post ( Throwing Snow In Neighbors
Yard!!! Illegal???), in its entirety, and ALL of the responses to the
post, you would have seen that I posted a FOLLOW-UP about picking up the
cigarette butts, and how I did it. Because someone in that group asked
me "Where did I find the time to pick up all those cigarette butts?",

I answered that question in a response to my original post, and told
people, I didn't do it because I was bored and had nothing to do, I did
it when I was raking leaves in the fall, just so that I could count, and
see just exactly HOW MANY cigarette butts he was throwing in my yard
every single week.

Here is my follow-up reponse to that post below:

Hey Everyone,

THANKS for ALL of the great responses and info., I really do appreciate
it!! I actually feel a little bit better now that I have "vented". I
think taking pictures and using a video camera is definitely a good
start, so that I have proof.

You know, I do know that like he said "its only snow, and it'll melt",
but why run the snowblower so high that it hits my house? I can let the
blowing the snow onto my grass "slide", but not when it is hitting my
siding and windows, landing on my front stairs, and front sidewalk, or
burying my 2-3 foot dwarf Alberta Spruce trees that I just planted this
past spring, or burying my 3 basement windows.

Why the basement windows? Because my laundry room is in the basement and
I do the laundry down there during the day, and if the windows are
buried, no natural light comes in, and I have to waste electricity
during the day by having the basement lights on.

Also, someone asked where I find the time to pickup and count the
Cigarette butts? Thats because he stands on his small back porch and
faces my house and stares at my house ( or at me everytime I am outside
) and almost always throws the cig. butts in the same area, directly
across from where he is standing on his back porch and into my yard.

So what I was doing was when I was raking the leaves this past fall, I
would have 2 barrels/paper leaf bags with me. He doesn't rake his leaves
and so they all blow over into my yard. So I was going out every single
day ( Monday-Sunday ) and raking the leaves and cig. butts up into a
separate piles. I would throw the leaves into 1 barrell/bag and the cig.
butts into the other bag/barrell.

Then each day I would throw them into a mason jar after I picked them
all up. Well like I said, there were at least 7-10 in my yard per day. I
did this for 3 weeks and week #1 there were 63 total, week #2 there were
#57, and week #3 there were 65.

So right now there is snow on the ground, and of course I can't see
them, because Marlboro Lights are White cigarettes, but I figure that by
time spring gets here in April ( 5 months from now ) and all the snow is
melted, ( and at 60 cig. butts a week that he throws into my yard )
there will be roughly 1,600 cigarette butts on my property.

I have all his stinky cig. butts that I collected over the 3 weeks in a
mason jar and was thinking of wrapping it up and giving it to him or
mailing it to him as a Christmas present!!!

NO, I am only kidding!!!!!!

Someone also asked me "WHY worry about the cigarette butts, because when
I mow my lawn, they will just get chewed up by the lawnmower".

In regards to the Cigerette butts, they have filters, and they will not
just grind up and disappear as if they were field stripped. You can't
just grind up the cigarette butts with the mower as someone told me.

The cigarettes have those hard cotton filters, and they almost NEVER
break down. With all the cigarette butts that my jerk neighbor throws
over here, I HAVE run them over with my lawnmower to try to get rid of
them, but the hard cotton filters just spit right back out. So unless I
pick them up by hand, they will be there forever.

I like the idea on someone checking on his Disability, because he claims
he has a "bad back" but I have seen him #1 mow his lawn in the summer,
#2 change the oil in his truck and mini-van in the driveway, #3 carry
and stack firewood this past fall in his backyard, #4 carry tables down
his driveway to his front yard to set up a tag sale, #5 dig a vegetable
garden with a garden hoe, and #6 carry bag of grocerys and big bags of
dog food into his home, to name only a few.

And both his lawnmower and snowblower are NOT an electric start, its one
of those where he has to pull the rope.

Thanks Everybody!!!

Call the cops and report he's throwing his cig butts and blowing his snow in
your yard. If they say there is nothing they can or will do about it tell
them you are going to cancel your garbage service and just toss all you
garbage into his yard as long as it's legal in your area. That should get
the cops out to at least talk to him about it and write a report which you
can use to take the idiot to small claims court. Using a snow blower of your
own to blow his snow, and yours back at him should put an end to that
problem in short order.

In one of the other groups that I posted in about my neighbors social
security fraud, someone asked me "How do you see him mopping the
floor?", and I told them the same thing I posted here, and thats because
the houses are so damn close to each other, its hard not to see these
things.

We live in a neighborhood that was built in the 1920's where all the
houses are like 10 feet apart from one another, so when you look out the
window, or even when you are outside in your yard, its pretty hard not
to notice what your neighbors are doing.

Its not like some of the homes today, where there is like 100 feet or
more between peoples houses. The guys driveway is like 10 feet from my
bedroom window. Same thing on the other side of me. My neighbors house
is like 10 feet away from mine. Its like the houses you see in San
Francisco where you may have a front yard and a backyard, but no side
yard.

How did I see him mopping his kitchen floor? Easy. He leaves all his
blinds OPEN 24/7 ( so that he can look out the window at me and my
family ), and at night IF he has the lights on in his kitchen if you are
outside just arriving home, or bringing the trash out or something you
can see right in there, and because his house is 10 feet from mine, I
can see him mopping the floor with a Red mop!!!!

Same thing with their dining room. They leave ALL the blinds WIDE OPEN
24/7, and if you are outside doing something, you can see right into
their dining room.

I don't know why these people don't like closing their blinds???

And the reason I said "IF" up above, is because most of the time the guy
enjoys walking around in the pitch dark. Probably so he can stand there
in the dark windows watching people, and they won't see him. He even
comes outside and stands out on his back porch or walks around his yard
or driveaway in the pitch dark.

How do I know this, or how can I see him in the dark?? Easy, its pitch
dark outside, and I can see the "Orange/Red Glow" everytime he puffs his
cigarette. I will come home from work at night, or go outside to bring
out the trash or something, and his place will be pitch dark, but you
will see the tip of the cigarette glowing Orange/Red in the dark at you,
everytime he takes a puff.

When I first moved here years ago, even my female neighbor across the
street from me told me that:

"He's the EYES of the neighborhood", and that "He watches everybody all
the time to see what they are doing".

Also, as far as me watching him do some of these physical activities
that he does, when the guy is out there at 5 am in the morning with his
snowblower going full-blast, blowing snow into our yard and hitting our
house with snow, or out there at 7 am with his leaf blower running
full-throttle, or mowing his lawn at 7 am , and all this noise is 10
feet from your BEDROOM window, its pretty hard not to go to the window
to see what is going on!!!!!

But if you don't soon report this guy to SSA for his work activity
buying and selling bunnies, and his physical exertion that you have
observed, I'm afraid that you could suffer a cerebral vascular
accident ..... also known as a stroke.

Back in the 60s-70s, you could've sold this story to TV for a
half-hour sitcom. Maybe with the title "The Neighbor From Hell" or
something.

Thanks for all the great info., I really do appreciate it!!! If you read
all of the responses to my original post ( Throwing Snow In Someone
Elses Yard? Illegal? ), from December 2005, you will see that numerous
people told me to start taking pictures of the guy doing all this
physical activity, that he always claims that he can't do at all. People
told me to use everything from a regular camera to a video camera to
capture his activities.

So after getting those responses/opinions/suggestions from people, I
have taken some pictures of him over the years, washing his car, mowing
his lawn, shovelling snow, stacking firewood, carrying cages of bunnies,
and using his BACKPACK leafblower.

So I came here into this group to ask people if those pictures would be
good enough for evidence to give to social security??

Unfortunately, some people think that I am only playing games because I
posted in numerous groups, even though I only wanted to get different
suggestions/opinions/responses/ideas from people.

But thanks for your suggestions! Next winter when he starts bouncing
snow of the side of our house and shooting rocks, sand, and rock salt
into our yard, flower bed, trees, and back and front freshly shovelled
sidewalks, we will definitely consider calling the cops.

BUT, do you think they will reallly show up for something like this, or
will they just laugh it off, and give us the same line he gave me -
"It's only snow, it'll melt, what you going to do about it?".

P.S.
In the original post from December 2005,you will see that someone said
that he hits our house with snow, sand, and rock salt because of the way
he has the chute on the snowblower.

That person who posted that was EXACTLY right!! He always has the chute
facing straight up, as high as it will go, and so the snow, sand, and
rock salt shoots out like 25 feet up and out into the air!!!! And the
edge of his driveway, is only like 10 feet from the side of our
house!!!!!

So I don't know WHY he has to shoot the snow 25 feet into the air
towards our house, when there is only like 10 of space feet in between
our 2 houses???

Even if I were to put up a 6 foot fence, or 8 foot fence even, he would
probably still just shoot the snow right up and over the fence, and
still hit our house.

I don't know why he can't put the chute down, so that the snow just
shoots out sideways!? NO, he has to have the chute sticking straight up,
with the snowblower running full-blast, so that the snow shoots out like
25 feet into the air hitting our house, windows, trees, and freshly
shovelled back and front sidewalk, and front stairs.

Is he suppose to report the income to Social Security, that he gets
"under-the-table" every week for the rabbit meat?? If so, I doubt he's
doing that as well!?

He brings home and kills anywhere from about 60 - 80 New Zealand bunnies
every week, and sells the rabbit or rabbit meat for either $7 dollars or
$12 dollars EACH!!!!

When I first moved next to him years ago, he actually asked me if I
wanted to by any rabbit meat from him. He said it was $7 dollars if I
wanted a dead bunny, and I would have to "clean it" myself, or $12 if I
wanted him to "clean it" and just give me the meat.

So you figure he is probably raking in anywhere from $720 ( 60 x 12 ) to
$960 ( 80 x 12 ) a week selling his rabbit meat under-the-table. I
wonder if he is reporting this income to Social Security Disability!!!??

Originally you said 30 feet. Then 15 feet. Now it's 10 feet?

Actually, 10 feet is standard. Most areas have a 5' setback requirement
from the side property line. Although in newer subdivisions, that
requirement typically gets reduced. Also, I have seen bay windows that
encroach into these areas as well.

Why should they? In our house we only close the blinds if the sunlight
is glaring in someone's face. Otherwise, leave them open all the time.
Natural light (and I don't have to pay for it!!)

So? As long as he is on his property he can walk, sit, jump, do
cartwheels or whatever at any time of day or night.

Sometimes I pour a snifter of brandy and go out to sit on my front
porch, at night, in the dark, to enjoy the evening breeze, the night air
and the quiet of the night. My friends who smoke always go outside to
smoke, and if I am out there they join me and we talk. All in the dark.

I'm not sure why you have a problem with this...

As has been suggested earlier, you need to find out what the local
ordinances are. In our area, no noise before 6:00 AM. So in my area I
could call the police if a neighbor was outside at 5. But after 6, not
a dang thing I or anyone else can do about it.

Sometimes you have to put up with it or figure out how to deal with it.
You have already mentioned a fence, so get a fence. Start at the front
and work your way back as you can afford it. Obviously most of your
problem is out front since that is where driveways are.

I take it he doesn't have a garage on his house... or it is behind the
house?

He probably doesn't put the chute down because most snow blowers do shoot the snow out
almost vertically. Since the manufacturer doesn't know how high the snow is around the
house, they typically point the discharge up at a steep angle. That way the snow will
clear any nearby obstacle and will fall generally close to the cleared area.

If it blew out the side he could probably blow snow all the way across your front yard
with the force that most snow blowers have. It would be WORSE if it angled out the side.

Odd, this conversation is taking an odd tract. Snow blowers we have around
here have hand cranks on them to direct the snow. In order to adjust for
wind and directional discharge capabilities. Most also have a easy grip wing
nut to adjust the shroud tip. Also to direct the discharge.

The worst winter in over forty years, this last one, and I had four
driveways and a uhaul service station that I took care of. At the height of
the snow pile I could walk behind where I was blowing the snow and you would
not see my hat. I'm over 6 foot btw. I had a LOT of work with a snow blower
this last year:)

I'll admit to many years since I have had to worry about a snow blower,
so I haven't had to use one myself in a while. None of the ones I have
seen had that much adjustment on the discharge.

Either way though, if her neighbor adjusted it to blow straight out the
side then it would tend to blow further across her property.

A lot of the stuff is screwy but if he needs grocieries and has no
help, is he supposed to starve? Some people with bad backs will take
the pian when it becomes overwhelming but they need to eat. As a
disabled person, have you ever offered to help him with some of these
chores? No..because you would rather call SSA and being the nosy
neighbor, report him. I am thouroughly against fakes but it dorsn't
look like he has a support system and of course, god forbid, you help
a ill person. No, you would rather fuck them over. If he has a bad
back, he may be on medication that allows him to squeek by doing these
chores. Have you asked him if he needed help with the lawn? No,
because you would rather fuck him over. Vigitable gardens, if already
hoed are nothing. But did you offer assistance. No, you prefer to fuck
him over.

Mind your own business. What contribution are you making to society to
enable you enough time to spy on him? Nothing. You are as big or
bigger leach than he is

I lived 33 years in attached row houses in a large city, and 32 years
rural with the nearest neighbor 1/2 mile down the road.

Rural is definitely better than urban or even suburban, but rural has
its own set of problems.

To clear up the feet in between the house thing, when I posted in 2005,
he had a smaller driveway, and 3 feet of grass on the side where we
share the property line. Then back in 2007 he had has driveway all
repaved with new tar asphalt, and made it WIDER.

He paved the new driveway right UP TO and ON the property line between
our 2 houses. So NOW, the edge of his driveway ( where the property line
is ), is now ABOUT 10 feet from the side of our house.

Also, no he doesn't hit the front of the house with snow, he hits the
SIDE of the house.

EVERYONES driveways in our neighborhood are on the SIDES of peoples
houses. Nobody in my neighborhood has a front driveway, we all have
driveways built on the sides of our houses.

Like my neighbor on the other side of me, our driveways are both right
next to each other, with about a 3 foot strip of grass separating them.

The driveways are about 100 feet long, so basically everybody in the
neighborhood has a SMALL front yard, a back yard, 1 grassy side yard,
and 1 side where the driveway is.

So, when he uses his snowblower and pushes it down the driveway, he hits
the entire length of the side of the house all the way down. Then when
he gets towards the front of the houses, he blows the snow from his
driveway all over the sidewalk in front of our house ( the public
sidewalk ), and our front walkway and front stairs which are about 15
feet or so from the edge of his driveway.

Also, his snowblower DOES have the handle that you turn/crank to change
the direction of the shoot, and the shoot is a manual one that you can
adjust and make it go up and down.

I know this because his snowblower is pretty powerful, and when he does
the public sidewalk in front of his home, he shoots the snow INTO the
street and it lands on the other side of the double Yellow line in the
middle of the road.

Well last winter a few snowplow drivers and Public Works guys saw him
doing this and told him to "knock it off" or they would "have the police
write him up a ticket", and so he lowered the chute and turned down the
power idle, so that it wasn't landing in the street, but on his front
treebelt.

But when he does his driveway, he puts the chute right back up, turns
the idle up full speed, and the snow, sand, and rock salt comes shooting
out of the chute like 25 feet into the air hitting our house.

I don't know how many horsepower his snowblower is, but its pretty
powerful. All I know is that its a Red, 2-stage "Yard Machines" one with
a 24" inch cutting path.

I know this, because a couple of winters ago when it was broken, he had
to bring it to the shop to be repaired, and he had no problem lifting it
straight up off the ground and into the truck bed, with his "bad back",
putting it into the back of his pickup truck!!!

Well, if you were to read my orignal post from 2005 ( not the follow-up
post, the first one ), you would have seen that when he went on vacation
for a week in 2005 we did help the jerk out when HE ASKED us to, by
going over there and watering his vegetable garden for him all week
long, as well as feed and give water to his dog, and keep an eye on his
house for him.

Then in the fall of 2005 or 2006, I forget which one it was, when we had
a big thunderstorm, a huge part of his tree fell down in his backyard,
and my husband was nice enough to go over there with OUR chainsaw and
and spend 2-3 hours cutting up the tree for the guy!!!!

Also, its okay when his wife locked herself out of the house, and
couldn't get to work, because her jerk husband wasn't home, and her car
keys were locked inside, and so my husband drove her to her job, 15
minutes away, and then she didn't even OFFER to give him any gas money
or anything, just a "thanks"!!!!!

Its okay when he COMPLAINED that our pine tree and flowering pear tree
branches were growing to close to his driveway, we were nice enough to
go out there and trim al the branches back nice and short.

If you are such a damn Saint and hero, why the hell don't YOU come over
here and help the guy out, and carry his groceries, move his furniture,
mow his lawn, shovel his snow, and kill the rabbits for him???

Better yet, why don't you contact his 31 year old daughter, 26 year old
son, and 20 year old son, and ask them WHY they don't come over here and
help him out???????

Gee, he has 2 sons both in there 20's, why don't they come over and help
daddy out, if he is in so much pain for his "bad back" and "14
differerent medications", especially sense his 3 kids all live in the
same town together, and which is about 2 towns over from were we live.

Yep, even though his 3 kids only live about 20-30 minutes away, his 31
year old daughter and 26 year old son come over about once a month to
visit and thats it. His 20 year old son comes over like once every 6

He brings home the bunnies in these small metal cages, or sometimes
wooden crates, and they are so jammed up in there that the can't even
move, not even 1 inch!!!!

When he takes them out to either kill them or bring them to his rabbit
pen in his backyard, somtimes he will throw them into a 5 gallon plastic
bucket. And so YES, sometimes I have counted them, just to get an idea
of how many he is killing each week.

So its usually about 10 bunnies in 1 small metal cage or wooden crate,
and he usually brings home anywhere from 6-8 crates or cages a week with
about 10 bunnies in each.

BUT there have been times last year where he came home, and the entire
bed of his pickup truck was all wooden crates, and he must have had
about 20 crates of bunnies with every crate filled to the max. He
brought home about 200 bunnies that week and probably killed them all.

To be honest, I was thinking the same thing. As an example, someone I
know is on SSDI who is on it for mental reasons. However, he does have
a bad back that would qualify him, which happened after he was
approved like 10 years ago. He is schizophrenic and has panic attacks.
He has never reported his back problems to SSDI but would in the case
of a CDR but he thinks it's an automatic thing. His back is actually
worse than his head. So this guy could be approved for another reason
and also has a bad back.

Well I'm no slouch and I've been using the neighbors snow blower. About the
same size as you describe. Somebody with a bad back should not be lifting a
snow blower that size, that's for sure.
Still, he must have a lot of customers to be servicing. Now i'm getting

Yes, I couldn't believe it when I witnessed him lifting up the
snowblower off the ground, and put it in the truck bed of his pickup
truck I really wish I would have had a video camera in my hand for that
one!!!

And as far as selling the rabbit meat goes, I think that he sells it to
friends, family, and some chinese restaurant around here. I have
witnessed a car full of chinese people that always comes over and buy
boxes of the rabbit meat from him.

He wraps up the meat in Aluminium Foil, and puts it in his wifes empty
AVON boxes. His wife is the "AVON" makeup queen of America, and they
must have hundreds of empty boxes in their garage.

I always see the chinese people coming out of his house with boxes and
boxes of the rabbit meat wrapped up in aluminium foil. So I think that
he is acting like a supplier/distributor for a chinese restaurant
somewhere around here.

He gets the live bunnies every week, brings them home, kills them, skins
them, cleans them, and then he wraps up the meat, and sells the meat to
the chinese restaurant, as well as friends, and family members.

Yet, he can't "no work" because of his "bad back", and gets to collect
free checks from the government every month.

But with all this cash rolling in, its probably why he can buy brand new
cars, and trucks almost every year, can go to Florida every year, has a
$3,000 dollar 60" flat screen plasma TV the size of a movie theater
screen, buy three $350 dollar 15,000 BTU air conditioners, buy new
furniture every year, buy a $300 dollar backpack leaf blower, and $800
lawnmower, etc, etc.

He gets free money from Social Security because of his "bad back". Money
for selling the rabbit meat at $12 a pop, Free money and food stamps for
being a FOSTER PARENT and running a Full-time FOSTER HOME. His wife
works Full-time 40 hours a week, plus she sells her "AVON", and is
"AVON" queen of the neighborhood.

Must be nice to come to America and get free money from the government,
to live like a freakin' King!!!!!

Just incase you have no idea what I am talking about, on how he uses
realtors and wastes their time and plays games with them, I will tell
you.

The guy likes to play games with real estate companies and realtors, and
loves to waste their hard earned time.

In the last 6 years, YES 6 YEARS, the guy has had his home for sale with
6 DIFFERENT realtors. He puts his house on the market EVERY single year,
with a different realtor each time.

This guy has NO INTEREST in selling his home and just likes wasting
peoples time and money and so that's why he switches realtors every
year, and only lists his house for a couple of months at a time.

But the thing is, he DOESNT WANT to sell his house!!!!! I know this for
a fact because he is too OBSESSED with watching the neighborhood!!!!

Just like my other neighbor across the street from me said when I first
moved in,

"He's the eyes of the neighborhood". "He doesn't work at all and so he
stays home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and watches/spys on all the
neighbors to find out what's going on and what their doing".

So he will NEVER sell his house because he is too obsessed with watching
everybody on this street.

Another neighbor told me that he actually said to in a conversation with
him, that he always

"puts his house on the market every year, JUST to see what kind of
OFFERS he will get".

He seems to think that someone is going to offer him like $500,000
dollars for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath Cape built in 1925!! Unbelievable, just
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I actually even had a good friend who was looking to buy a home back in
July 2006, when it was on the market with a certain real estate company,
and so I suggested to her his home.

Well, she went over there and looked at the outside of the house and
liked it, and she wanted to see the inside of the home, so she knocked
on the door, but even though there was 3 cars in the driveway at the
time, no one answered the door!! So she left him a note on his door with
her phone number on it, and told him that she was looking to buy a home
in that area, and she wanted to take a look at the inside of the home,
and that if she liked it, she would be willing to pay HIM cash DIRECTLY
so that he would save money on the realtor fees. And so she said "please
call me", and she left her name and number at the bottom of the note.
But guess what?? HE NEVER CALLED HER!!!!!

Here is a woman who's interested in his home, andis willing to pay him
the $169,900 that he was asking for at the time, up front and IN CASH,
and he DOESNT call her back!!!!!?????

WHAT does that tell you!!!!! It tells me that the guy absolutely HAS NO
INTEREST in selling his house and just gets his jollies playing games
with realtors and people and wasting THEIR time and their
money!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like going out on a campaign, to warn all other realtors about
this guy!!! I would tell them to DONT let him sign with them, so that he
won't waste their time and money!!! Dont let them be added to the list
of 6 Realtors in 6 years!!!

The guy started listing his house 6 years ago, and plays the same game
every year. And unfortunately all of these poor sales associates become
part of his sick game that he likes to play with people and realtors.

I know that everybody says the economy is bad right now, but was it bad
6 years ago? Does it really take 6 YEARS to sell a house?? You are
telling me that 6 DIFFERENT realtors all couldn't sell the house for the
guy???

You can see by just some of these things alone, that he NEVER really
wants to sell his house.

He has already stated to other people living on on our street, that he

"just likes to put my house on the market once a year to see what kind
of OFFERS I get".

He seems to think that someone is going to offer him like $500,000 to $1
MILLION dollars for his 3 bedroom, 2 bath 1925 Cape!?

The year 2025 will be here, and he will still have his home listed on
the market every year, claiming he wants to move to the town his 3 kids
are living in 30 minutes away, to be with his family. YEAH
RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what the amazing thing is, that just really gets me about this,
is the way he just uses realtors and wastes their time, and hard work.

If he just want to see what kind of "OFFERS" he gets, then why doesn't
he just put an ad in the paper, or on Craigslist.org, or just try to
sell the house himself, and do "For Sale By Owner"??

BUT NO, he has had his house listed on the market with 6 different
realtors in the last 6 years, starting in 2003.

He doesn't tell the realtors the TRUTH, about how he wants to just get
"OFFERS", he makes them believe that he wants to sell his house and move
20-30 minutes away to another town that his 3 kids are all living in, to
be with his family.

So the sales associate works hard, and WASTES all his/her time and hard
work trying to sell the place, only to have him take the house off the
market in a couple of months, because he doesn't really want it to sell.

Maybe he really does has some kind of MENTAL problem or something, and
he gets his jollies off of using people and wasting their time!? Who
knows!?

And HIS WIFE is just as bad, because she goes along with the whole
thing, with her lies and DECEPTION as well, as she has also been
dishonest with the 6 different realtors in the last 6 years about
wanting to sell the home.

Then last summer before he listed his house AGAIN, in September 2008
through May 2009, with another realtor, he went around the neighborhood,
and asked ALL the neighbors, if they "knew anybody that would be
interested in buying his home". He was saying how "he made $30,000
dollars in home improvements in 2007, and you can move right in, and the
house needs NOTHING".

He was telling people that "his 3 kids are all grown up now, and that
they all moved out, and are now all living in another town 20-30 minutes
away, and that him and his wife DON'T need a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home,
when its just the 2 of them".

Then in November 2008, him and his wife became Foster Parents, and are
now running a Full-Time FOSTER HOME, and are constantly taking in Foster
kids left and right!!

So, he CLAIMS that he wants to sell his home, but then starts running a
Foster home!?

In order to be a licensed Foster home, your house has to have a SAFETY
INSPECTION done by the state where everything is checked out like (
electrical, plumbing, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire
extinguishers, etc, etc. ).

If you run a Foster home and you sell it and move to a new home, you
have to have the safety inspection done all over again at your new home.
So WHY would he want to go through that all over again???

Also, our city has a website that you can go to, and you can see the
2009 Apparaised value of your home, done by the City.

Well, our City has his home appraised and valued at $124,600, yet when
he had it listed from September 2008 through May 2009 ( yep, its
officially OFF the market again!! His home is NO LONGER For Sale!!!, )
he was trying to get $182,900 for it this time!!!

The City has it appraised at $124,600, and he was asking $182,900. So he
wanted to get an extra $60,000 dollars MORE than what the house is
worth!? That's just crazy, no wonder nobody has wanted to buy the thing
in 6 years!!!

First, if it was listed with a real estate company, he shouldn't be answering the
door for anyone who stops by. A -real- buyer will contact the realtor and make
arrangements through them for a viewing.

Second, if he has it listed with a realtor, then he has a contract that requires
him to pay the realtor regardless of the buyer's desires. If he had accepted your
friend's offer, he could have been sued by the realtor.

> Here is a woman who's interested in his home, andis willing to pay him

Nope. He did right. If she was interested in the home she needed to contact the
realtor and go through them.

> WHAT does that tell you!!!!! It tells me that the guy absolutely HAS NO

It tells me that you don't understand how home buying works. Your example shows
that he DOES understand how realtors work and that he is interested in following
the rules and his contractural obligations. You are chastising him for not playing
games with a realtor. Odd...

> I feel like going out on a campaign, to warn all other realtors about
> this guy!!!

You are really starting to sound like you do nothing but obsess over this guy. I
really don't know if I am not starting to feel sorry for him because he has you for
a neighbor.

> I know that everybody says the economy is bad right now, but was it bad
> 6 years ago? Does it really take 6 YEARS to sell a house?? You are
> telling me that 6 DIFFERENT realtors all couldn't sell the house for the

Depends on how hard they tried. Maybe no one ever offered anything for the home,
maybe no one ever asked to see it. Some houses just don't sell. It's impossible
to know why it hasn't sold without talking to each of the realtors.

> He has already stated to other people living on on our street, that he
> "just likes to put my house on the market once a year to see what kind
> of OFFERS I get".

And it is possible the realtors know this. They do talk to each other. It is
possible that all they do is list it and put a sign up somewhere and they do no
other work on it.

> So the sales associate works hard, and WASTES all his/her time and hard
> work trying to sell the place, only to have him take the house off the

While he can take it off the market at any time, typically he is required to follow
the contract he signed when he engaged the realtor. There can even be penalties if
he takes it off the market without a good reason. Also, most contracts with
realtors also include a clause that will pay the realtor even if the house isn't
listed with them, if it sells within 3 or 6 months of the end of the listing.

> Well, our City has his home appraised and valued at $124,600, yet when
> he had it listed from September 2008 through May 2009 ( yep, its
> officially OFF the market again!! His home is NO LONGER For Sale!!!, )
> he was trying to get $182,900 for it this time!!!

The tax value is often below the sales value. In our area the houses are taxed at
roughly 68% of what the retail market appraisals are. At least that's what the tax
office tells us.

As for what it is listed for, if a realtor lists it at that price, that means the
realtor beleives it could sell at that price. Most won't even list a property that
the seller is asking too much for because it won't sell and it does waste their
time.

Basically your entire rant regarding his home sale and realtors is just you
ranting. Nothing in what you have said indicates anything out of the ordinary,
while it is unusual for a home to be for sale that often, obviously the realtors
don't see a problem with it since they keep listing it for him.

From your descriptions of the area you live in, it sounds like a decent sized house
on a large lot, house 10 from property line, 100 foot driveways when the standard
is 5 foot from property line and 20 foot driveways.

No, he has had open houses and private showings over the last 6 years,
but no one has ever wanted to buy it, because its way over priced for
our area. The houses in our neighborhood usually sell in the $130,000 to
$160,000 price range.

Two years ago in 2007, the home a couple of houses down from me sold for
$157,900, and that one was a 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom single family
home with a 0.11 acre yard.

My jerk neighbors house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, also with an 0.11
acre yard, and he wanted $182,900 for it!!

Right now, there is a home on the other side of the street from us, and
that is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom single family with garage and 0.14
acres, and the owner is asking $139,900 for it!!!

The houses in our neighborhood are all about the same size, and are
between 1,200 and 1,500 hundred INTERIOR square feet in size. Everyone
on our side of the street has the SAME sized yards, which is an 0.11
acre yard.

We all have the SAME sized yards, which are 125 feet long on the sides
of the home, and we all have yards that are 50 feet wide in the front
yard, and 50 feet wide in the back.

So everybody on my side of the street has a 0.11 acre yard, which is 50
x 125. But, the houses are still close to one another, and so there is
only like 10 feet or so between everyones houses. So the houses and
yards are not huge mansions or anything!!

But you find nothing odd about this, and how he uses realtors, and lists
his house EVERY single year with DIFFERENT Real Estate Companies each
year just to see what kinds of "OFFERS" he gets???

He doesn't stay with the same company and uses different sales
associates each time, he actually uses different Real Estate Companies (
i.e. Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Remax, etc, etc. ). every year!!!

He has been doing this for 6 years now starting back in 2003. So you are
telling me that in 6 years he couldn't sell the house?? And that 6
DIFFERENT Real Estate Companies couldn't sell it for him??

I would love to see someone go over to his house and offer him like
$200,000 for his house and see if he takes it!! I bet you anything he
would REFUSE it!!!!!

You have the nerve to ask me, why I don't help this guy???

I guess its okay how I probably helped save the guy from going to jail
from murdering some innocent bystander last year.

How you ask? Well last summer he came home from the convenience store
and he parked his truck out in street in front of his house. Anyway,
after doing something inside the truck, he went inside his house, and
left the truck RUNNING while parked next to the curb in the street.

About 10 minutes later my ten year old son noticed smoke coming out of
the cab of his pickup truck, and a few minutes later, the whole interior
was on fire and Black smoke was going everywhere up into the air!!!!

We called the Fire Department and Police, and they showed up and blocked
off the street, and it took 2 Fire Trucks to put out the fire. The
firemen and police than went to his door, and knocked on all his doors
and windows, and he refused to come out!!!

The Fire Chief asked me, how this situation happened, and I told him
that he "left his truck running out in the street and went inside and
never came out".

At the time this happened, this is when the gas prices were $4.50 a
gallon. I told the fire chief that "with gas prices at almost $5 dollars
a gallon, I don't know how or why, anybody would leave their truck
running and just go inside and forget about it".

The Fire Chief told me that "the fire looked SUSPICIOUS"!!!! He told me
that "the fire burned through the whole interior, and was VERY CLOSE to
reaching the running gas-filled engine where there could have been a
huge explosion". He then said "the truck looked like it was totalled and
would be a write-off".

Sure enough after about 30 minutes off this happening, my jerk neighbor
decides to finally come walking down his driveway, with no shirt on, and
his fat hairy stomach hanging out, wearing only blue jeans.

The Cops and Fire Chief go over to talk to him, to get his story, and he
says that "he didn't know his truck was still running with the keys in
it when he went into the house"!!??

WTF???? How can you not know your pickup truck is running when you get
out and go inside???

Anyway, the Fire Chief told him that we ( actually my son ) noticed his
truck on fire and we called the Fire Department, and probably saved his
truck from blowing up and killing some innocent bystander, and that he
should THANK US, which of course HE DIDN'T!!!! NOPE, no thanks from him
or NOTHING, NOT EVEN FROM HIS SNOT NOSED WIFE EITHER. She didn't even
have the decency to say thanks!!

My son got a reward though, for doing the right thing, and telling an
adult ( us ), that he saw smoke and something burning, which ended up
being a dangerous fire, and so the Fire Chief and Police officers each
gave him one of the plastic "Junior" badges. Plus, they let him sit in
the Fire Truck and Police Car, and play with the sirens!!!!

But I have a feeling why he never said "thanks" to us, its because HE
set the truck on fire ON PURPOSE to collect the insurance money!!!

Because a couple of days earlier, while I was out working in my yard, I
hard him talking to his older son, telling him that the truck needed new
"wheel bearings", and that it was going to cost him $1,000 dollars to
get it fixed, and he would be better off just buying a new truck, which
he ended he ended up doing a few weeks later.

Great guy, huh!?

Nope. He could ask a million and sit on it until it sells. That's his problem and his
realtor's problem. If the real estate agent is willing to list it for the price he is asking
then either they feel it could sell for that much or they are idiots. Either way there isn't
anything wrong with it.

It's his perogtive to accept or refuse an offer. Even if he wants to sell, he can still refuse
to sell. Happens all the time, in fact right now there are many houses on the market which
people are sitting on, they want what they want and are willing to wait until someone pays it.

If you can figure out a rhyme or reason to why homes sell for what they do, please let the rest

"Poland Spring" water bottle.

The stuff was a reddish/brown color and had all kinds of stuff floating
around in it!!! When my husband told him that "moonshine" is supposed to
be clear like water, jerk-face neighbor says that he puts "cherries" in
his "homemade moonshine" to give it more flavor, and a sweeter taste!?

UMMM!!!! Nothing better than cherry flavored whiskey!!!! Would probably
be better off drinking cherry cough syrup!?

But, he also sells this under-the-table as well, to add more ILLEGAL
cash, to his already stuffed pockets.

Maybe a phone call to the "ATF" should be in order too, for him selling
his homemade "moonshine" under-the-table for money?????

I guess its okay how I probably helped save the guy from going to jail
from murdering some innocent bystander last year.

How you ask? Well last summer he came home from the convenience store at
the end of our street, and he parked his truck out in street in front of

his house. Anyway, after doing something inside the truck, he went
inside his house, and left the truck RUNNING while parked next to the
curb in the street.

Yeah, now the jerk and his wife are Foster Parents, and they have been
running a Full-Time Foster home out of their house since November 2008.

So you know what that means?? More free government money every month,
free food stamps, free health insurance, free WIC for all the kids under
five, 8 days paid "respite care" etc, etc.

In my state, Foster Parents get a MINIMUM of $350 a week in cash. But
what these people do, is they take in "special needs" kids, because in
my state, you get an extra $30 A DAY for taking in a "special needs"
child into your home.

So you figure thats an extra $2,240 that the guy is getting free from
our government every single month.

Plus they get free food stamps from the state, free health insurance
from the state, a $200 clothing allowance per kid, $200 replacement
clothing allowance per kid, $75 dollars for Christmas money per kid, and
$50 for birthday money per kid.

But it makes you think, do they really care about these KIDS???? Or do
they really care about the FREE MONEY and FOOD STAMPS that they are
getting every month?????

Maybe the guy should be reported to DSS as well for neglecting the
foster kids and his own grandchildren, because going to buy his "smokes"
are MORE IMPORTANT to him than the childrens safety!!!

Last summer he left his 1 year old and 3 year old grandaughters all
alone in the house BY THEMSELVES while he went to get his cigarettes at
the convenience store at the end of our street, and was gone for 10
minutes.

He has left the older foster boy ( from the post below ) alone a few
times in the house to go get his cigarettes, being gone for 10 minutes
each time.

And now recently, he has left the 2 year old foster boy, that they are
now caring for, all alone in the house by himself, being gone for about
10 minutes each time. And he has done this 3 or 4 times so far since my
post below in Febuary of 2009. He leaves around 9:30pm and 10:00pm at
night, while his wife is at work, to go to the convenience store for 10
minutes to get his precious cigarettes.

Great Foster Dad and Grandfather, huh????

Hello all,

I am not where to post my question, so I guess I will try in here?? I
have a quick question that needs to be answered ASAP.

Basically, my question is, what is the rule for leaving Foster kids at
home unattended by themselves?? Can foster kids be left alone by
themselves, and if so, do they have to be a specific age??

My neighbors recently became Foster Parents about 4 months ago. They
currently have a young boy living with them in their home. I don't know
his exact age, but I do know that he is in elementary school, and looks
to be about in the 4th, 5th or 6th grade.

His foster mom works at night on the second shift, from 3pm to 11pm, and
he stays at home with the foster dad who doesn't work at all and is home
24/7 because of his supposed "bad back".

Anyway last night, the foster mom was at work. It was around 9:30 pm at
night, and I was out on my porch letting my cat inside for the night,
when I noticed my neighbor ( the foster dad ), backing out of his
driveway 80 miles an hour and driving away in the car toward the store
by himself. He left his foster son all alone in the house unsupervised!!

He returned about 10 minutes later, speeding back in the driveway like
100 miles an hour, and got out with a pack of cigarettes in his hand. He
left the foster boy alone for ABOUT 10 minutes, so that he could go get
his smokes at the convenience store at the end of our street.

So is this neglect?? I know that he wasn't gone for that long ( roughly
10 minutes ), and that the convenience store is only right at the end of
the street, but what if there was an emergency?? What if there was a
fire? Or what if the boy was on medication, and had a seizure or
something?

I am sure he left while his foster son was sleeping because it was
9:30pm at night, so the boy probably had no idea he was even gone.

But this is NOT the first time that he has left kids unattended in his
house while ONLY he was watching them!!!

Back in the summer of 2008, he did the same thing, only this time it was
around 10am or 11am in the morning. He did the same exact thing. His
wife was gone, and he went to the convenience store at the end of the
street, to get his cigarettes while leaving his 3 year old, as well as 1
year old GRANDDAUGHTERS in the house BY THEMSELVES with NO SUPERVISION
while he was gone for about 10 minutes that time as well.

I even confronted him about this, and asked him WHY did he leave his 3
year old and 1 year old granddaughters alone in the house while he went
to get his cigarettes?? I asked him, "What if there was a fire or
emergency in the house" while he was gone!? He refused to answer, and
all he said was, "I love my grandkids!!".

So is this possible neglect?? Should this guy have a right to be a
foster parent?? Should I report him to Social Services for possible
child neglect?? Is it okay for a 4th, 5th, or 6th grade AGED foster
child to be left alone in the house for 10 minutes, while he goes down
to the end of the street to get his precious smokes??

I am sure that his wife has no idea, that he does this, and that if I
report him to DSS, it will be his word against mine, and that there is
no proof.

But actually there may be a way of getting proof. All DSS has to do is
get a copy of the tape from the convenience stores camera from last
night, of him walking into the store by himself at 9:30pm at night to
buy his pack of cigarettes.

Don't convenience stores usually keep tapes, incase of crimes?? But I
don't know how long they keep them for??

If he says that his wife was at home with the foster boy, DSS can just
call her company and talk to someone in the payroll department, and
confirm that she was at work to 11pm.

But he might just say that the kid was in the car waiting for him, while
he ran in to get his smokes??

I thought about calling the police when he did this last night, but by
time the police would have arrived, he most likely would already
returned home, and he would have denied the whole thing of course!!

Why couldn't he call his wife at work, and tell her to bring him home a
pack of cigarettes for him, sense it was already 9:30pm, and she gets
home at 11pm??

The other question is, how many times has he done this so far, that I
haven't seen him leave the foster boy home alone unattended, and is he
just going to keep on doing it??

I saw him the first time when he did it in the summer, when he left his
3 year old, and 1 year old granddaughters alone in the house by
themselves for 10 minutes while he went to get his smokes, because I was
working outside in my yard.

And last night I saw him do it again, because I just so happened to be
out on my porch letting my cat in. But how many other times has he done
this that I haven't noticed??

Maybe he's a good grandfather and foster dad!? Maybe he will win
grandfather and foster dad of the year for 2009, who knows!? I just
don't think that he should be leaving these kids completely unattended
in the house by themselves, even if its only for 5-10 minutes to go to
the end of the street to get a pack of cigarettes!!

It leads me to ask, does he really care about the foster children that
he brings into his home, or does he only care about the free money,
foodstamps, and other benefits that he gets from the state every month
for being a foster parent?????

So, is what he did last night child neglect??

Should he be reported to DSS??
Please let me know ASAP??

Any info. will greatly be appreciated!!

Thanks!

What difference does it make to me whether he sells his house or not!?
READ all the freaking posts for crying out loud!!!! If he sells his
house, I won't have him throwing 60 of his cigarette butts in my yard
EVERY single week!!! I won't have to put up with the jerk running his
snowblower 10 feet away from my window at 5 am EVERY snowstorm!!! I
won't have to deal with him hitting the sides of our house with snow,
sand, and rock salt from his driveway, killing all our grass, trees, and
flowers, and turning our side yard into a freaking beach!!!!!!! I won't
have to have my little kids ask me "why is he stabbing bunnies right in
the middle of his backyard and letting them bleed to death"!!!!!!! I
won't have to have him watching me from his back porch, or through his
windows EVERY single time I or my kids are outside doing something in
our yard!!!!! I won't have to witness him walking around or watering
the yard in front of his house all summer long ONLY wearing boxershorts
and nothing else, with his big fat hairy stomach hanging out!!!!!

And you ask me WHY I care whether his house sells or not!? Well maybe if
you would have read my posts, you would have seen that I CAN'T stand the
guy, and my biggest wish is that his house sells and he moves somewhere
FAR AWAY!!!!!!!

BUT NOPE, IT AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN, BECAUSE ITS OFF THE MARKET AGAIN!!!!
HE HAD IT LISTED FOR 8 MONTHS, AND NOT ONE BUYER!!!!!!! IF I HAD
$200,000 DOLLARS ON ME RIGHT NOW, I WOULD GIVE IT TO HIM, JUST TO MOVE
AWAY SO THAT I NEVER HAVE TO SEE HIM EVER
AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY, I am NOT the one that started this thread, it was "Lea R." who
started this whole thing!!!! I came in here last week, and I posted my
question and topic ( Neighbor Committing Possible Social Security Fraud
).

Then "Lea R." starts THIS thread telling everyone that "something is
fishy about her" because I "posted the same topic in a number of
different groups".

And then I go on to explain that YES, I did post in a number of
different groups so that I could get a VARIERY of different answers,
opinions, nd suggestions from people.

Then on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at 12:54am, "Jeem" comes in here and
posts my topic from the "alt.revenge" group in December of 2005, about
my neighbor throwing snow in my yard.

Go back to the begnning of this thread and look at the people that
started this whole thing by BASHING ME.

I came in here last week, posted my topic "Neighbor Commiting Possible
Social Security Fraud - LONG!!!", and got my answers and responses from
people, and I left it at that.

Then "Lea R." starts THIS THREAD and calls me "fishy", and then "Jeem"
goes on to re-post my topic from December of 2005 about my neighbor
throwing snow against my house with his snowblower.

Go back to the beginning of this thread, and look who started it!?

And the reason I reposted your post about the snowblower was because I
wanted to defend my opinion that you had a vendetta against your
neighbor (alt.revenge). From what you have posted, past and present, I
would say you have the right to have a vendetta against him. But this

Someone aksed me if my husband talks to the jerk?? NO, my husband can't
stand the guy either, and doesn't want to talk to him or even look at
him, thats how much he disgusts us BOTH. UNFORTUNATELY, we live about 10
feet from each other ( our houses are about 10 feet apart ), but they
don't talk to us, and we don't talk to them.

But last week my husband got into a HUGE fight with him, because our
jerk neighbor thinks its funny how the school bus is DESTROYING our
front lawn, leaving ruts and tire marks all over our new baby grass my
husband just planted in the spring!!!

Let me explain. Our jerk neighbor and his wife our now running a
Full-Time FOSTER HOME, and have been taking in foster boys
left-and-right. They have been doing this sense November of 2008. Well,
throughout the school year the foster kids have been picked up on a
school bus IN FRONT of his house, out on the street.

Well, about 5 weeks ago, they got a new boy, who gets picked up at their
house everyday, Monday-Friday. So what the school bus does is, it
DOESN'T stop in front of their house, NO, it actually pulls into their
driveway when it comes down the street, on the other side of the street.

We are on the "odd side" of the street, and so the bus comes down the
street on the "even side" of the street, and makes a left turn, running
over our front yard, digging EVERYTHING UP, turning our front lawn into
SWISS CHEESE!!!!!

So this is NOT like some car running over the lawn, this is a 10,000
pound school bus running over the lawn EVERYDAY leaving a rut, and torn
up grass and soil on our front lawn!!!

We even put rocks there, and the bus RAN OVER THE ROCKS, like they were
nothing!!!!!

So after 5 weeks of this happening, my husband couldn't take it anymore,
and confronted the jerk, and asked him "why the school bus has to pull
into his driveway", and "why they have to keep running over OUR lawn"???
"They don't run over his nice front yard, where he put down all new
grass seed back in the Spring".

So jerk neighbor thought the whole thing was funny, about how OUR lawn
is getting torn to shreds by the 10,000 pound school bus everyday. He
then says "Well its my driveway, and I told the school bus they can pull
into the driveway." "Its my driveway and you can't do anything about it,
because I own it, and I told them they can pull in".

He thinks it's funny on how my husband keeps filling in the ruts and
holes with new topsoil and new grass seed EVERYDAY, and then the bus
comes the next morning to pick the kid up, and in the afternoon to drop
the kid off, and they just run over it again tearing it all up!!!

Then jerk-face neighbor says "if you don't like it, why don't you call
the city and tell them to build a STONE WALL on your treebelt!!!".

My husband was ready to punch the guy, and I think thats what our jerk
neighbor actually WANTED, because he said to my husband - "I'll let you
punch me, then I will call the cops, and YOU will go to JAIL for
ASSAULT!!!".

He must have said this like 3 times to my husband, asking my husband to
"punch him" so that he "could call the cops" and press ASSAULT charges
against my husband.

So I went out there and managed to get my husband to come inside,
because the rest of the neighbor was out there, and everybody else was
watching their heated argument, so if my husband did punch the jerk,
there were like 10 people all watching this as witnesses that my husband
"assaulted" him.

So NO, they don't like us, and we don't like them, and NO we DON'T talk
to one another.

But you want to know whats FUNNY!!?? Our neighbor ( a single guy who
lives by himself ), on the other side of us, who is 10 feet away from us
on the other side of our house, we get along GREAT!!!!

We are friends, we talk all the time about everything, we exchange
presents at Christmas time ( he buys all my kids presents out of the
kindness of his heart and asks for NOTHING in return, but we still give
him presents at Christmas! ), we help each other with raking leaves in
the fall or shovelling snow, or digging out the front of our driveways
after the plows have come by in the winter, he bakes us cookies, we
share food with him, we help each other with home repairs, or if
someones car repairs ( helping him with a flat tire ), if he goes away
on a trip or something, he will come back and give my kids souveniers of
where he went, etc, etc.

So on one side of us is a jerk and troublemaker which we can't stand and
don't talk to, and on the other side of us, is the friendliest and
nicest guy in the world!!!!

Go figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you think it is your "Hispanic" "Disabled" "chain-smoking" neighbors
fault that a school bus turns around in your yard every morning?

If a firetruck turned around in your yard would that also be his fault?

You appear to have misplaced anger and are choosing to blame everything
on this neighbor simply because you do not like him, for what ever
reason(s).

If my neighbor blamed me for a school bus turning around in his yard I
would laugh at them too.

Perhaps you could contact the school district and/or bus company and
make a formal complaint for damaging your lawn?

And, if it truly happens every day and your husband truly is putting top
soil and seeds there every day... well you do the math. Didn't work last
month, or last week, or yesterday... it isn't going to work tomorrow
either ! It is as if you blinded by anger and resentment.
