I made a start digging the ditch. It has to be about 12 feet long, from 6"
deep on one end to 18" deep on the other end. I'm putting data wires in PVC
conduit. I can't really bury them bare because they're not rated for
burial. I drew some sweat and came in. Our air conditioners keep this
place cool. I wired some #10 wire to feed two of them and on out to the
shop last winter. Now they can draw all the juice they want. No more
extension cords through the hallway. I have the circuit on a 30 amp
breaker. I don't have 240vac to the shop, just one 120vac 30 amp circuit.

Years ago I taught myself Borland C++ programming from a book and a 80286
computer with a 40 Megabyte hard drive. Then I graduated to an 80386 and
Windows 95. I could program input from a mouse and draw graphics with it.
I lost all of the programs I made. Nothing works for DOS based programs
anymore. The programming community flew light years ahead of me. Now what?
I still have all of my books. Today's programs are all NT based, whatever
that means, and I don't know NT programming or where to begin. I took a
class in Visual C++ and still have the program for it. In fact it's
installed on my other computer.

All the programming jobs are outsourced anyway. I'd like to learn HTML,
just for my own personal use. What is Java? I want to integrate a
spreadsheet into a web page. How do I do that? Where is the book to learn
it?

The sun is going down. It is cooling off outside. I'm going out to dig
another foot of ditch.

Learn PERL and CGI

Also learn how not to put your entire boring life on the internet. Although
I do have to admit it beats that crazy shit you were writing about death
and whores. btw did your G/F read any of that crap, and if so, what was her
reaction? I'm thinking she didn't, or you'd be less one female friend.

Just checking, Jon, I'm of the opinion you know this, but from the post
it isn't clear... You aren't planning on 110 and low voltage in the
same conduit are you? From your posts you seem to know what you are
doing so I don't think so, but if you are... don't...

Jon's daily diary entries are a hell of a lot more entertaining than posts
by a bunch of pathetic societhal parasites whining about the fact that they
aren't getting a COLA in the governmental handouts that they receive.
Also, unlike you, asswipe, Jon actually works and earns the money that he
receives.
