WTF? Thursday, the mail man left three pink slips in our mailbox
saying there were three certified letters (all with different numbers,
etc) and this was the third and final notice for all three. But this
is the first we've seen for any of these items, we have the same mail
man most days (Thursday seemed to be a different one), and someone is
home every day when the mail arrives - many mornings the mail man
hands the mail to us.

So there's no way these slips were correct, and someone was home so
why didn't he simply ring the bell and give us the certified items?
(This is a private house, not an apartment or multi-dwelling house or
anything.)

We've had things sort of like this happen before, and others report
problems with these pink slip items. Why does the USPS handle these do
strangely and dishonestly?

Dude: Write a letter, a physical letter, with your complaint and mail
it to the postmaster. It gets attention. Asking questions on Usenet
doesn't.

Were the certified letters even for you?
