Red,
I just looked at Frenchy's site and I see what you mean. I've only
done a couple deals with the Frenchman over the years but they've
always left a sweet taste in my mouth.
Wow, Mike at Briar Blues a few months ago and now Frenchy. As Frenchy
would say, "A bowl to all of ya, ya sumbitches."

Quite a shame. I haven't bought anything from him in a long time, but
I was never disappointed.
Enjoy your retirement, Frenchy. I'll miss yer e-shop, but at least
you'll still be around here for the blabbin'! ;-)

God bless and keep puffing,
The Great Pawn Hunter
I will miss his website! All I get is a blank page. Frenchy, are you
listening or reading this? All the best to you!
I leave the group for a year or so and Frenchy shuts down? Maybe he
will have more time to critique my songs now. Most of my pipes came
from Mr. French.
Hi Bill,
Here's what he had posted to his site a few days ago:
I know I've been plannin' to welcome new partners on board Frenchy's
Pipes but it's not gonna happen after all. Actually they were just
takin' over because I'd said I was gonna retire so they figured I could
take it easy and they'd take over all the work. Well since the
partnership fell through I'm gonna go ahead and retire and do nothin'
but puff. I just didn't wanna disappear without sayin' what a great ride
it's been. I didn't make a whole lotta dough but I damn sure made a
whole lotta friends. So happy puffin' and I'll see yiz around gang.
So Frenchy's Pipes is no more. Thanks to everyone on this terrific forum
for help makin' it a wonderful trip!

The official word was on the front page of his site on Tuesday night.
He is officially retired. He was trying to bring in partners to
eventually take over the site, but it fell through, and he decided it
was time to retire.
I talked to Frenchy this week about the blends including the No-Holds-
Barred), and he agreed to let us sell them on our site
(www.pipesandcigars.com). They should be on the site and available for
sale this coming week.
