'morning all. Back from looong "dog walks me", C&D Corinthian in yard
pipe(s). Folks already out setting up tents for festival at nearby
park. Back to sleep for awhile, same baccy loaded in SerJac blast
calabash for after breakfast. Gonna play a couple sets with two bands
at "theRamble" in town later, as a substitute. My own band not booked.

It's Lanes BS-005 (that I've been aging in an all cedar cigar box for 7
months -- interesting, further analysis needed) in a Brindisi apple type
thingy with a very slight bend. Costa Rican coffee on the side.
Leaving soon for Dallas with my brother to pick up his new car. We plan
on stopping by the massive beer stores and picking up some stuff that's
unavailable to us here in NW Louisiana. Namely, Trumer pils.
Have a wonderful fourth guys. Don't blow your arms off with those fireworks!

It's 72F and partly cloudy after yesterday's much-needed rain (first in over
a month!) so hopefully it'll be a great day weatherwise.
Later I'll fire up the old grille, throw the chicken on it & with pipe, book
and favorite holiday beverage, sit back and watch 'em cook.
Family coming over later this evening for dinner and celebration.

Greetings Bear & the Brotherhood (sounds like a rock group), It's (can
you guess?) 965! in a Ruthenberg ring blast zulu. Big mug o' coffee
and Bach's Magnificat on the side. No new books to read (although I
did order one that Ian recommended. Anyone else have recommendations?)
so rereading "On the Road," -- the book that made me drop out of
college and hitchhike around USA Canada Europe & Mid-East. My
beautiful baby's off from work, so I probably won't write today. Have
great smokes everyone and Happy Fourth! (don't get those cherry bombs

First bowl of Smoker's Haven Cognac Mixture in a steroidal Ser Jacopo
brown blast apple w/faux military mount. Went nuts last night and
ordered nearly $300 worth of tobac from Smokingpipes.com, all SG and GH
flakes. This talk of internet taxing, etc. is raising my level of
paranoia. Will be doing some serious canning mid-next week.

I started the day with a bowl of cereal and some juice. Shrotly
thereafter, I fired up a bowl of '01 PCCA Beacon in a Tinsky TanBlasted
Dublin, with a bit of American coffee on the side (like Irish coffee,
but with George Dickle Old #12).
