Most, if not all, of the ASP Gift Exchange packages are
laying on my office floor. I had intended to start boxing
them up, labeling, and mailing today. However, stamps.com
has selected this weekend to do server maintenance. I'll be
doing as much as I can on Sunday night, folks. I'll beg my
wife to drop off what I've completed (I'm really going to
try and nail it all!) on Monday at the PO or MBE.
Otherwise, the stuff will hit the PO on Wednesday due to a
biz trip Mon/Tue. I'm trying folks, really I am.

... Come over and get really screwed up? We could even bust out some of
Trever's Yule Blend (which year would you prefer?) and hunt the neighbor's cats
with your bows and arrows. (Mental image: two obviously inebriated types with
pipes jammed in their grills, stumbling around cars while hunting harmless,
although inconsiderate defecators, fluffballs with massive bow hunting rigs.)

No sweat Jeff! They'll arrive when they arrive! The 'spirit' of the
exchange is what is imortant, (at least to me) not what I receive or when I
receive it.

Kudos to you for taking on the whole job.

Don't be worrying about it, Jeff. We all love you, even the ones here who
won't come right out an admit it are seconding me, even as I write this.

Yep, I'll definitely second June - expect a really *long* thank you note,
btw... Shocked, flabbergasted, dumbfounded, stunned, floored... About the
only coherent words I can think of right this second, but I'll probably get
more communicative shortly after the amazement wears off... if the amazement
wears off... MAJOR big hugs to you and yours, Jeff. Thanks so much.

Melissa,
I've been bounced around on the job front and the personal front over the past
couple of years. I always survived and have come out better for the wear and
tear. The things that always stood me in good stead were the random acts of
kindness that magically, sporadically appeared to help lighten the load. Like
the time you took care of making presents for my daughters a short time ago. It
was from the heart and *greatly* appreciated. I'm glad that I could return the
favor. Even though we have never met, I feel fairly certain that we have...

Jeff,

There have been times in the past year when your just 'being there' when I
needed to feel very sorry for myself was an enormous help... *chuckle*
Speaking of which, I'm hoping the girls will enjoy celebrating Tammy's
birthday with her in February... ( I was thinking perhaps of 18th century
French costumes on a teeny-tiny scale, but if your girls have favorite eras
of historical fashion, let me know! ) And you *more* than returned the
favor - by leaps and *bounds* you returned the favor! Anyway, expect a real
thank you letter soon ( now that I have your USPS addy again, I can actually
*mail* it! :D ), and for the time being take my heartfelt thanks - it's
definitely a thing of beauty and something I never in a million years
expected. And, you know, despite the 'never met' thing, you do seem an old
familiar friend - too bad I don't believe in reincarnation, because I could
swear I've known you forever. Hugs!

anachronos for Barbie. :D
