Mark Twain Curling Classic Results - 7/30/2007
The Great Pawn Hunter
close competition by winning the most Curls in this event! It came
down to the last Curl and the Great Pawn Hunter was poised well to win
however it wasn't to be and the Curl stopped at one minute left in the
Aromatic Curl and GPH sunk his face into his hands. Uggghhh. well,
thanks everyone for a great time we will do this again in one month
staring August 29th Wednesday. Name for the tournament yet to be
determined.

Wow! My daughter just arrived from Los Angeles with my computer's
power pack in her luggage and I'm just now reading the results. How
exciting. It really was close; what fun. Don't know about the rest
of you, but the Glenn Tinsky pipe is a stunning smoker. Hope everyone
had as much fun as I did; thank you GPH for setting up and hosting the
event and for your help with my communication challenges. Today I
thought I'd rest from smoking--and let my tongue heal--but, that being
impossible, I smoked the rest of my competition English in a Radice
with a 9mm filter and enjoyed it.
Once again, excited to have won. Thanks for letting me participate.

My SO finds it quite funny when I strap on my "referee watch" and say
"I'm going to be smoking for at least the next hour!" So far I haven't
gotten an hour out of the CP. It's a great pipe but not my style, which
would be more like unrubbed flake in a size 3.
I'll be ready next time.
