Old Pipes To Go

Got a box of old (60's??) Savenellis, GBDs, etc.
Gave up the weed years ago, and none of my kids
smoke.

I am in Durham NC USA.

I do not want to go thru the angst of EBAY or whatever.
I am not looking to make big bux either.

But if anyone in the Raleigh-Durham area wants to take
a look, lemme know. Hate to see them just settin.

Yeah, really was not ready for all the notes/posts
about the pipes.

I will try to make a list soon and repost.

Really sorry for starting something I should have known
was much more complicated.

I'll dig them out and make a list, maybe post some pix.

I do know there are a few GublioDoro's (sp?) and a couple
of GBD Rhodesians, and a pair of nice bents from a small
pipe shop in Charlotte NC.

Hello friend! well, it's a pity to sell them. Absolutely you should
keep them, also because each pipe has its own story and it is bound to
its smoker.

I really can't think to sell my pipes, and I don't smoke often, so
someone could say: "why don't you sell them?".

But really, each pipe has a story to tell...

Starting look thru the pipes. Here are the first
few I come across. Given average condition,
i.e., oft smoked, seldom chewed, need a ream and
a polish, gimme a ballpark REASONABLE asking price:

Dunhill bent bulldog sandblast - nice
Savenelli Punto D-Oro bent pot (?) sandblast - nice
Savenelli Giubileo D'Oro (3 dot) bent billiard smooth- nice
GBD bent rhodesian smooth - stem is loose
BBB Roycroft pot square shank sandblast - ok
Savenelli Giubileo D'Oro full bent smooth - nice
McCranie bent pot smooth flame - nice
McCranie bent pot sandblast - nice

Would you be happy with $100? How about $150? Possible $200? Happier
with $250?

If all ya wants to do is make them go buy buy put a number on them
that you would be happy to get for as a group and be done with it ...
wrap em up and ship em out and the deal is done.

Oh yeah ... I aint makin no offers at all ... I dont buy estates
unless I personally know the person so I offerin nuthin for your stuff
but just set a price you think would be fair and post that with the
list and see what happens.

That would truly be the simplest way to do it for you ... if not be
prepared for the cheap pipe clubsters of ASP to ask ya to send a dozen
pictures of each pipe and haggle on the prices and it will be Prez
Obammy's 2nd term before you get rid of them.

Yup, guess you are right. Gonna donate them to ShopGoodwill.
They have pipes sometimes. Thanks for the suggestion.
