Loose tobacco estimates that 25 grams (1oz) has been approximated
to the equivalent of 50 cigarettes. One Pipe is equivalent to two
and a half cigarettes.
That's interesting, if not incredibly false. The surgeon general
report on smoking says that people that smoke, on average, 5 bowls or
less a day have no increase in mortality rate over non-smokers.
According to this, that would be the same as 12.5 cigarettes per day.
So if there is no increase in mortality and this says that there
theoretically should be, then this model is wrong.
