We're all in agreement, I assume, that Santa smokes a pipe.
So, what kind and what's in it?
For myself, I always picture a tavern-length clay. For tobacco,
something basic and hearty, with plenty of latakia. Nightcap or
something similar.
What say ye?
I agree with the clay pipe, but one that the bit has been clipped over
the years (as I think was the practice), so that it qualifies as a
"stump" of a pipe that he holds tight in his teeth (per Clement
Moore). And I imagine a light vanilla-scented aromatic, Blue Note,
perhaps. Maybe it's the cookies my kids leave out that I'm thinking
of on that last one, though.
Happy Christmas (or whatever you celebrate or don't)!

Santa only smokes a specially prepared (by elves) house blend of
north-pole latakia which he enjoys quite thoroughly. If only Santa knew
that the elves actually cure his tobacco over smoldering reindeer poop.
Oh well, such is life at the north pole!
I don't know why (I may be getting mixed up with Frosty) but I always
assumed a corn cob. Maybe it's because he "looks like a beggar" and I
don't figure a beggar could afford anything much better than a cobb.
Of course I can't say about the blend but I'd like to believe that
whatever it is it has chesnuts in it.
