Greetings ASP,

I know this is a tough year. I've been on lay off for six months myself
and haven't been able to nail down a job. However, I've never seen such
low interest in the ASP Zippo pipe lighters.

It'd be tough for me to try to talk anyone into buying any of them if
you're in as rough shape as some of us are. But, this really is a
pretty important lighter from the collector's stand point.

First off, it's the 15th anniversary of this newsgroup. And this
lighter includes Bill Burney's ASP 15th Anniversary design.

Second, it's the first ASP Zippo pipe lighter to include an engraving of
a warrior...the main engraving is a classic shot of General Douglas
MacArthur with his signature gigantic corn cob pipe.

Third, it's the first ASP Zippo pipe lighter to include three separate
engravings...MacArthur, the 15th Anniversary logo and the standard ASP
logo (also by Bill Burney).

All right, I know, this is all just sales hype. My thanks for your
patience. But dang, we're down to the wire here and we've never missed
placing an order with Zippo. I'm in for 5 lighters already.

Bert

It was 45 before and I put a paypal through. Just wondering if you
got mine? It should, at the least, put you up to 47.

Happy puffing,

Bert,
I am sorry to hear about your lay off. I got laid off in February and I
have been having a load of trouble trying to find a job in my field. I
finally gave up and took a job at WalMart. I am working in the electronics
department, so I am still kind of in the field, and I love the job. I have
been told by management that I will be offered full time as soon as an
opening comes up, but in this economy that opening will mean that someone
will have to be fired.

Hey Mary,

I'll email you my mailing address and you can send a check, but if it's
a strain, don't worry about - the count just hit 56 so we're good.

Okay it has gone through now I think. It should say the name is
William Dochnahl.

Bill, I've emailed you but haven't gotten a response. Your PayPal
payment has not showed up.

I suspect you may have gotten caught in a problem from the ASP Web Site.
If you're reading here, go instead to:

<http://www.canaltownanvil.com/2009Zippo.html>

and re order the lighter.

If you don't feel like hassling with canceling or re addressing your
previous order on PayPal, it will simply "time out". You will not be
double charged for the lighter.
