Many thanks to S. delaVega for setting the historical record straight.
Since he was the first to use 'herfing' in ASC, the earlier uses being
restricted to verbal utterances of a pair of foggy fugitives from the sheriff
and their studies, we have to accord him the honor of giving birth to
'herfing' in its current context.
All ASC will sing the praises of S. delaVega, Prince of Skeeves -- who taught
us to joyously herf!
