Just how irritable the might of one's dissentive view dig the pit between the fold and the psychiatric army leader's divinity. Confusion and despair when confronted with freedom-of-choice killing evidence, the threat of framing from above, blackmailed through one's religion. The conviction of the calling, the protective shield of bullets and the confusing memos all whirl in one's head until the trigger mechanism makes dread of all scientific suspicions. Yes Hasan's life foundation of sanity were shook when he received while seeking: a calling from a religious voice anonymous . The intensity of the thread, the fear of one's damnation as opposed to a martyred, free and laid-out Heaven all rang their disbalance in the destroyed worshipper's targetting mechanism. If Hasan was so unnerved and yet so valiant, undetected and brave in his rationale for assassination, it is because behind his sway lies the strings of the emerging One World Religion.

The sign of a surefire k00k is when they immediately follow up their post with another one that doesn't make sense. If you can overcome this hurdle, you might not have to ride the alt.slack short-bus with Bob Dean, Alcandor and Doc Martian anymore.

He isn't even as amusing as "Totally (and Always) Wasted Preacher Mike with Sideshow Guests."

I have heard that stamp collecting and bird watching are two of this country's most commonly practiced hobbies!

Not exactly. He was allegedly the One Last True SubGenius. Everybody on this newsgroup and in the taphouse IRC channel HAD The Horror, according to him. The Horror was what made us make fun of him. Well, that and the content of his posts. He was kind of Doc Martian like, except that he finally went away. He had emotional, literacy and sobriety problems, but he had somehow managed to marry a cute looking SubGenius girl, and he came here to brag. It... didn't exactly work out for him.
He has a long on-and-off track record for... outbursts... followed by long vanishings.

I noticed that "skeleton exopod" one was talking about "the horror" somewhere today. I don't know though, he/she/it might have been echoing back what was said to him.

The really sick thing is, I wonder sometimes if that was WHY she married her.
Now that though is some The Horror.
Preacher Mike posted here years ago, got on a lot of people's nerves, and then scurried off, ne'er to return until he came to crow about how he wound up married to Leeburls.
Imagine if he spent ALL THOSE YEARS waiting for a chance to get one up. Devoted his LIFE to it, to the point of getting married just to settle the score for a long-ago Usenet spurning.
I can't even grasp it, and yet, I could believe it, like I can't quite grasp what Cthulhu looks like, but I could believe it.
Oh, the Horror.
The horror.
