Got this message from a fellow minister or weirdo. The insane artwork
on this website is worth checking out.

((All Below Forwarded))

From: "Daniel St. Clair"
Subject: Hi Stang, I found something very bulldada...

You know that right-wing hick artwork that you will often see at gun
shows or flea markets? The stuff that is usually nothing more than a
bunch of sad ripoffs of Boris Vallejo and Frazetta work, only with
heads of politicians superimposed over the badly-drawn heroic
barbarians?

Well, some guys on the somethingawful.com forums found one such an
artist. His site is here: http://www.creativepatriot.net/artWork.asp

Aside from featuring the usual pletero of sadly pathetic flag-fetishism
and desperately sloppy carnival-airbrush quality art, he also has a
couple images that are truly worthy of the title of "bulldada."

Specifically, this image in particular:
http://crass.coopertx.us/nunzios_pride.jpg

Squashing a three-legged dog in the left of a composition with a
symmetrical abstract background is bad enough, but putting him on
precarious stilts that defy the laws of physics, giving him an ineptly
rendered "noble" expression that comes off more as "doggy's
constipated" or "get me down from here!", and then strapping a leather
wife-beater belt with a metal peg in which an
obviously-copied-from-a-photo flag has been driven in that BLOWS IN THE
BREEZE over this poor precariously balanced dog just completes it.
This is true bulldada at work. Sheer unintentional mindfuck hilarity
at its best.

Also, there's this confusing image:

And this laughably typical frazetta/vallejo ripoff:
http://www.creativepatriot.net/myImages/guilianiPainting.jpg
(Appropriately, it's hung behind the counter of some no-name booze
joint.)

And this "classy" piece of pseudo-patriotic neo-fascism:
http://www.creativepatriot.net/myImages/heads.jpg

And this bald eagle who looks strung out on cocaine:

Anyway, though you might enjoy that.

Feh.

It would be an interesting little gag to look at if the symbolism
wasn't relatively transparent.

The flag on the ocean represents "America, mighty from sea to sea".
The tractor represents industry and agriculture. The plane represents
military might.

So, "thank you to the army and industry for kicking butt and making
America great".

The end.

The clouds look ridiculously flat. Five bucks says he used some
models and a projector. A mirror, a model of a tractor and he dangled
the plane from a string, with the clouds on a backdrop. Then he
projected the image or a photo of it and worked on top of that.

If the image were enigmatic, I would agree with you.
