Dude! You are lucky to be unhurt. Bummer about the red tape, though. But
hey...new car! That's gotta be good somehow, right?

My 18 year old Ford Aerostar died last week. I got 90 bucks for it.
It was like putting down an old dog. Maybe that was the luck plane
stopping me from driving drunk tonight.

I just noticed this, no matter how many horrible things happen to
people in these place people here often time leave almost unscathed.

Agreed, glad you're both unhurt. Heck when all's said and done you
might end up with an even better car! Praise "Bob"!

That's some good luck. Hope don't nobody tries to screw you.

Glad to hear you guys are all right.

Did the other cars have drivers, or were they dropped on you from a
great height? (The latter strikes me (oof!) as "Bob"'s style.)

The very same thing happened to me in 2006: 2 cars=destructo. My "Bob"
headed licese plates (vasnity plates which said SUB G) were unscathed,
though, despite my being hit from front and behind, totaling the car,
at 65 mph on the freeway at the height of rush hour. "Bob" closed down
the freeway, and I had not a scratch.

MOTHERFUCKER!!!!

Hell of a closing statement for this year, huh? Hope you make out like
bandits.

In the meantime, if you're not too sore, a little making out is called
for. You both came through okay, and that's a "Bob"damned MIRACLE!

the lack of transportation could also mean you get an even longer
weekend than everyone else! my car was out of commission for a while
due to an accident one august, and I too got out okay had the other
car been a little bit farther to their right, they woulda hit ME
instead of my front wheel. I called the insurance company, arranged
for repairs, and even called a car-rental place to get some temporary
wheels until the shoggothmobile was up and shambling. only car left
at the car rental place was a pontiac G6 with more bells, whistles,
geegaws, and buttons than I knew what to do with, so i had to poke at
em all! I half expected the thing to start talking to me.

glad you and the missus are okay. Xdays wouldn't be the same without
you.

"Bob" knows that his followers tithe MUCH more if they're still alive.
glad you both survived. now get up in court and declare that the
accident has driven you to follow a weird saucer cult and you demand
compensation.

Praise "Bob" that you and yours are okay. Yeah, others have said it, but it
bears repeating.

Here's hoping the red tape doesn't strangle too much and you get a good car
out of it all.

Oh, boy! I've never had the joy, so far, of chasing down an insurance
company's settlement with two other insurers fighting over which one's
client did which damage to my car.

I hope the two of you had plenty of good drugs for today despite feeling
unhurt yesterday.

Good thing you are without so much as a scratch! Well, 2009 was our
crash with a totaled car. I am glad that "Bob" either watched over you
or that the luck plane was just tilted in the "right" direction. A
destroyed car takes away enough Slack, without adding scars or broken
Yeti bones.

So - who'll be the lucky survivor with a totaled car in 2011? (That
is, if July 5th turns out to be just another drill)
